    Give God Credit

When we stop to think about it,

there are many times when we fail to

give God the credit that is due him.

Maybe we forget, overlook, or aretoo busy to do so. But just as we

ought to say thank you to

    someone who has done something

for us, we should remember to thank

    God.

One of our unique traditions at

    FCC is the Thanksgiving Eve

    Candlelight Testimony Service. For

many this is a highlight as they stand

to give God credit for the ways they

have seen him at work in the pastyear. It is a powerful time of listening

to one anothers journeys. It is a

time when singles and families alike

recognize not only Gods role, but

the important part that this local

church has played in their lives.

1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanksto the Lord, for He is good; His love

    endures forever.

    Everyone is busy during the

holidays and it takes an effort to get

    together with others. Nonetheless, I

encourage you to do it for the Lord

as he deserves the glory; to attend

for your familys sake as the children

need to hear their parents testify; for

the benefit of those who need to be

    lifted up as they hear your story;

and for yourself because you need

    to both receive and give.

    Hope to see you 6:30PM

    Wednesday November 21st @ FCC.

    Feeding Ministry LaunchesWednesday November 7th

One of the ideas thatpeople latched onto when we

moved into this building, wasto use the great kitchen/

cafeteria space for some kindof feeding ministry. With the

success of our Clothing Pantrywe are taking another step of

faith and are launching amodest Feeding Ministry.

Pastor Mark and the newlyforming team are laying out

four Wednesday PMs over thenext year when FCC will

provide a meal for any needy

families in our community. Thedinner will be completely freeto the recipients with no strings

    attached.Besides helping set up,

cook, serve, and clean up, weare asking the FCC family to

    come and eat alongside our

neighbors. This is not the timeto simply visit with the people

we see every week, it isintended as an opportunity to

meet and welcome newpeople. Thus, you have a very

vital part to play. You donthave to go find the people,

we will bring them in to you.Lets shine Jesus light by

loving our neighbors asourselves, which is Jesus

2nd greatest commandmentafter loving God. Join us as

we attempt to demonstrate inpractical deeds the faith we

    believe in our hearts.

Michiana Youth MinistryAs we did last year, FCC will be

    partnering with Terry McBrides

    Michiana Youth Ministry retreats this

month by allowing them the use of

our facility. Please make them feel

welcome if you happen to see them

    wandering the hallways. Pray God

uses these retreats to touch many

    young hearts with the Gospel.
