Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a.k.a KYGO, has gone from bedroom producer to one of the most hyped electronic artists on the planet in unprecedented time. Having established himself as a household name thanks to his widely popular remixes, sell out shows in North America and Europe as well as headline performances at festivals including TomorrowWorld and Findings, KYGO signed a worldwide recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment in September.

• His first original track ‘Firestone’, released at the end of 2014, has now amassed over 7 million plays across SoundCloud and YouTube and over 40 million plays on Spotify, peaking at #4 in the worldwide Spotify chart. With a hotly anticipated album scheduled for 2015, plus a new live show experienced due to be unveiled at Ultra Music Festival, this is only the beginning for this 24 year old Norwegian prodigy.

Kygo’s albumThe album's first single, "Firestone", featuring Australian singer Conrad Sewell, was released on 1 December 2014. The debut single was an international success, charting in over 14 countries and peaked at number one on the Norwegian Singles Chart. "Firestone" notably popularized the genre of tropical house in 2014.[6] In late 2015, it was confirmed to be the lead single from the album.

The second single, "Stole the Show", featuring Parson James, was released on 23 March 2015. It peaked at number one on Norwegian, French, and Swedish charts and reached the top 10 in more than 20 countries.

"Nothing Left", featuring Will Heard was released as the third single on 31 July 2015. The single charted on several international charts and peaked at number one on the Norwegian Singles Chart.[7]

"Stay", featuring Maty Noyes, was released as the fourth single on 4 December 2015. The single peaked at number 2 on the Norwegian Singles Chart.

"Raging", featuring Kodaline, is the fifth single from the album on 1 April 2016, it was also released as the second promotional single from the album.

"Carry Me", featuring Julia Michaels, is the sixth single from the album on 12 August 2016.

Broods• Broods is a music duo from Nelson, New Zealand, composed

of Georgia Nott on lead vocals, with older brother and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Nott on production and backing vocals. They released the single "Bridges", which went to No. 8 on the New Zealand single chart, and signed with Capitol and Polydor Records. They released their self-titled debut EP, Broods, on 30 January 2014, which was followed by a full-length album, Evergreen, on 22 August 2014. The band toured with Ellie Goulding, Haim, and Sam Smith, and have won five New Zealand Music Awards. They released their second album, Conscious, on 24 June 2016.

Broods’ album"Free" was released 1 April 2016 as the album's lead single.[13] It debuted at No. 30 on the New Zealand Singles Chart and has since reached a peak position of 21; it has also been certified Gold by Recorded Music NZ. The single is their highest-charting entry to date on the Australian Singles Chart at its peak of 30. "Free" impacted American modern rock (or alternative) radio on 12 April 2016 and serves as the duo's third official single in that territory.The duo released "Couldn't Believe" to digital retailers on 20 May 2016 as the first promotional single to support pre-orders.It peaked at number 4 on the New Zealand Heatseekers Singles chart and also charted at No. 81 in Australia.

"Heartlines", co-written by Lorde, was also released as a promotional track on 10 June 2016.[16] It reached No. 3 on the New Zealand Heatseekers chart. Its music video was released on 29 July 2016.

Gavin James• Gavin Wigglesworth, known professionally as Gavin James, is an Irish singer-songwriter. In March 2013

and March 2016, he won the Choice Music Prize "Irish Song of the YeaJames was born in Dublin and grew up in a household surrounded by music. James' dad would play Cat Stevens, Sam Cooke and Bob Dylan whilst his sister Emma sang and toured with a musical in Ireland.[2] James' great-grandparents were opera singers and his grandfather was a stand-up comedian and whistler.[3]

• James began playing music in a rock band at the age of 14 and writing his own songs. The rock band was short lived, however James continued to perform solo, playing numerous gigs for years and building his audience. By age 21 he had begun focusing on his songwriting and playing open mic nights. In 2013, James independently released the single "Say Hello", which won the Meteor Choice Award for Song of the Year. By 2015, James had signed deals with Sony in Europe and Capitol Records in the US.[4]

• Musical career[edit]• James released his debut album Bitter Pill on 20 November 2015 through Warner Ireland. It was awarded

Platinum certificate for sales in Ireland. Subsequently Bitter Pill has won the Choice Music Prize for Best Single released in 2015.[5]

• In May and November 2015, James appeared on James Corden's Late Late Show[6] and Jimmy Kimmel in December 2015.[7] In January 2016 James appeared on the BBC One Show, C'est A Vous and RTE and was included in Buzzfeed's[8] and The Sun's 'Ones to Watch 2016' lists.[9]

• He has been supporting act for Kodaline, Tori Kelly,[10] Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran on their tours.[11] In 2016 James performed at RTÉ's Centenary Concert to mark the 100 year anniversary of Ireland's Easter Rising.

• Spotify have announced Gavin James to be a 'Spotify Spotlight Artist of 2016'. On January 21 James set off on his debut European headline tour, starting with three sold out back-to-back dates at the Olympia Theatre in Ireland. James travelled back to America to support Ben Rector on his US tour in March 2016. James' cover of David Bowie's "Changes" relaunched the new Virgin Radio UK at 11am GMT on 30 March 2016, he later performed live and was interviewed for the show.[12]

• James is set to headline his biggest show to date in Ireland when he performs 'Live at The Marquee' June 10 in Cork, Ireland

Gavin James’ album• A smooth-falsettoed singing songwriter from

Ireland, Gavin James began playing the guitar at age eight and performing live regularly in his late teens. His first release, the EP Say Hello, was an Internet hit in his homeland in 2012, and the charting title track won Song of the Year from Meteor Choice Music Prize. In 2014, he signed with Capitol Records and released a full-length live album, Live at Whelans, which featured James performing solo with only an acoustic guitar. It charted in the Netherlands and Ireland, where it hit the Top 20. In the spring of 2015, he appeared on U.S. television's Dancing with the Stars and released a four-track EP titled For You. Later that year, he was invited to open for chart-toppers Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith on their respective tours, and released singles including "Bitter Pill" from his full-length studio debut of the same name. Essentially a studio version of Live at Whelans with just two new songs, Bitter Pill was released in March of 2016. ~ Marcy Donelson
