CONCEPTS I. Attractiveness:This concept explains the idea of making the cycling path more beautiful by plantingcherry and willow trees and recommending rest/service stations with differentidentities

Horse Farm StationLacated in Elst near Aam, next to existing car pool

Pond- StationLocated near Arnhem, close to existing Lake

and Golf course

Church Station. Located nearby an old

church in Ressen.

To ensure the safety of users, a lightning system and noise reduction in some areaslying close to the motor-way are designed.

CONCEPTS III. Accessibility:This path is accessible from several locations such as Arnhem, Elden, Aam,Ressen, Bemmel and Nijmegen. This path even passes on Lent. This providesyou many destinations.

Road Type 2:This type lies on around 100 metersfrom and to each stations. It is designedfor multifunctional purpose. 2 m widefor cherry tree, 4 meter wide for thepath as to persuade cyclist to stop by,and 5 meters wide for the station and 2meters wide promenade for 200 meterslong at each station.

Road type 1:This type lies on most part of the path,. 1 meter wide for willow as to direct users touse the new path, and 5 meters wide for thepath.

Stations are located pretty close to train station and accessible from and to several residential

areas, so Your trip will be much easier and more importantly FASTER.

The new path is rather straight than the old one. You may save your time. Lent is accessible

ONLY in few minutes from Nijmegen. From Elst, you can park your car and continue your trip by bike which is also rentable at Horse-

Farm Station.

The tastes of this design come from several part as follows; Cherry trees are planted on red line on the map, the willows are planted along the green line.

Cherry trees are planted as welcoming and farewell signs around Arnhem and Nijmegen. and 100 m from and to each stations.

Willows are planted to lead bicyclist to use the new path, especially in junction whereby the old one is also connected to. Apart from this function, willows will also be used for traditional art industry (basket, chair, etc).

Additional facilities are located such as pond, jetty and artificial pond to support the potential of recreational atmosphere. This station is located near the lake and golf course

The horse-farm station will be located next to Elstcar pool. People can park their car and start using bike which can be rented at this station and returned at other stations
