Do bumblebees really fly?In terms of sheer aerodynamics a bumblebee ought not be able to achieve flight let alone leave the ground. Likewise, in an ever-changing world marked by the worst financial crisis since World War II, most companies should not be able to achieve economic growth due to consumers holding back.

Nonetheless, during the past year the market has seen hummel fashion footwear soar higher than ever before and consequently, for this season we have developed the biggest and most complex hummel fashion footwear collection to date.

A collection with features and benefits for every need and taste in pretty much all shapes and sizes. Materials range from breathable canvas and water resistant oiled leathers to heritage suede and futuristic neon PU – everything in a unique 70s-meet-80s-meet-the-future combination.

The collection silhouettes tell the story of the hummel heritage while allowing the materials and colours to show the new and emerging trends we regard as being significant for the AW10 season. Having been considered to be primarily a men’s brand for years, this time around we have made exclusive styles for women only with particular focus on their needs.

And for you few skeptics out there; yes, bumblebees do fly and so does that old quirky and innovative Danish sports-fashion brand named hummel - higher and more agile than ever before.
