-------------------- Christmas Day: 10.00 am

A Christmas celebration for all the family entitled, ‘The King is Come’.

With carols and children’s activities for all ages.

How to make a ChristingleFollow these easy steps:q Take an orange to symbolize our world.q Make a white paper “ruff as decoratively as you wish

- some people use quilling to make it look nice. This stands for the baby-Jesus in all His goodness.

q Take a birthday candle in its holder and push it into the orange through the white ruff. This symbolizes the fact that Jesus grew up in our world to show the right way to live - Jesus is the light of the world.

q Tie a thin piece of red ribbon or crepe paper around the orange. This reminds us that Jesus died on a cross to break down the barriers between us and God.

q Put your favourite sweets on cocktail sticks and push them into the orange to symbolize the joy and delight of a Christian life, lived well in this beautiful world.

Then make sure you bring your Christingle to the Candlelit Carol service 6.15 pm on Sunday 21st

December & enjoy coffee and mince pies afterwards.
