At an ideal altitude of 1,113 m. Megève has always paid particular attention to ensuring that children have great holidays. The “Family Plus” label is a reference guaranteeing that the resort has the facilities, amenities and services to welcome families as well as a programme of events and entertainment specially adapted for children, thus insuring that family holidays are a success. For many years now Megève has invested for children, offering two periods every year that are entirely dedicated to them: Nature Dreams in July and the Little Princes of Autumn during the autumn half-term holiday.

BE VIGILANT WITH YOUR CHILDREN
They tend to put all their energy into an activity and can very easily fi nd themselves in a state of over exhaustion without any warning signs. • Avoid drastic changes in altitude (risk of otitis).• Carrying babies and small children, who remain immobile, on our backs over lengthened periods of time exposes them to the eff ects of certain phenomenon, which may be dangerously aggravated (sun stroke, dehydration, heat stroke, chills and colds, frostbite..).• Avoid taking very small children above an altitude of 2,500m. • Remember to protect them from the sun (sunglasses, caps, sun creams…)
