With 26 years experience organising family ski holidays, we know what it takes to make your valuable family ski holiday extra special.

Our unique À La Carte Childcare is arranged in your own chalet, meaning no snowy trudge to a central crèche in the morning. After a wholesome breakfast, it’s skis on for Mum and Dad to hit the slopes safe in the knowledge that our qualified nannies and child care staff will look after the children whatever their age. As parents ourselves, we understand the little details required for a completely hassle free and enjoyable holiday for all the family.

Our three resorts and thirteen chalets have been handpicked to suit the needs of families, indeed most of our properties have been built to our own specification. All offer family focussed accommodation, superb locations and a few of life’s luxuries that include hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, boot warmers or even a cinema room!

For over 25 years we have continually tweaked and fine tuned the services we offer to skiing families. Our dedicated family focus enables us to have an uncompromising attitude to what really works for skiers with children.

Service and Staff |

Our UK based sales team is dominated by skiing parents who fully understand your needs and priorities. They have all visited every one of our chalets and will help you identify the best property and rooms for you and your children.

Our overseas team is recruited by our senior managers and all have a genuine enthusiasm for helping

families get the very most from their week in the Alps. Our chalet hosts, childcare team and resort support staff will redefine your expectations of what is possible on a family skiing holiday.

At the heart of our resort service is our À La Carte Childcare. For many guests the attention, energy and professionalism shown by our nannies and carers is a revelation.

Our level of care will allow parents free time on the slopes while children have the time of their lives. All our childcare is in your very own chalet, so no snowy trudge to a central créche.

Our À La Carte Childcare service has one guiding principle; if children are happy and entertained in a safe environment by people that truly care, then parents will be free to relax and enjoy themselves.

IN CHALET CHILDCAREImportantly, all of our childcare is based in the chalet you are staying in. This unique approach creates a relaxed home from home environment that you won’t find with a centralised crèche. It also avoids a snowy trudge or bus ride for parents in the morning to a central crèche, simply slip into your (warmed!) ski boots and head for the slopes.

OUR CHILDCARE TEAM All our childcare staff are carefully chosen by our senior managers and will ensure your children have a great ski holiday. Nannies are fully qualified and helpers have a wealth of experience in professional childcare environments. All our staff are enhanced DBS and reference checked and child carers are trained in first aid.

Monty the Marmot is a fun and friendly character who just loves to ski with his friends. Monty has teamed up with Ski Famille


to ensure children of all ages enjoy the mountains and have as much fun as possible throughout their stay. MOUNTAIN MARMOTS SKI LESSONS Each morning, after breakfast our experienced childcare team will kit your child out and take them to ski school. We sign them in with the English speaking ski instructors and pick them up after a fabulous morning skiing. Then it's back to the chalet for optional lunch or Monty's Afternoon Club (see page 14).

Some parents are looking for all day care to maximise time on the slopes, whilst others are seeking options that allow afternoons spent en-famille.

All children receive a Monty the Marmot badge with Ski Famille Childcare.

MINI MARMOTS | 4 MONTHS TO 4 YEARS | £349 All day care (0900 to 1700) six days a week for children from four months to four years old. Safe stimulating fun in and around your chalet with our qualified nannies and carers. Includes supervised lunch and all activities.

MOUNTAIN MARMOTS | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £249 Morning English speaking ski instruction for all abilities six days a week. We will get children ready for ski classes, take them to and from the ski school meeting points and liaise with our ski school partners. Care is 0900 to 1230 and lessons are typically 2hrs long. Lesson times, days and durations may vary for skiers aged 3 and 4 years.

SUPERVISED LUNCH | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £99 Supervised lunch in your chalet (1230 to 1400) six days a week. This option is already included in Mini Marmots and Monty’s Afternoon Club.

MONTY’S AFTERNOON CLUB | 3 TO 12 YEARS | £239 Six afternoons (1230 to 1700) of action packed activities with plenty of outdoor play. Hunt for Monty the Marmot, tobogganing, arts and crafts and much much more. Includes supervised lunch.

MONTY’S PYJAMA PATROL | ALL AGES | FREE New for 2016/17 Baby / Child listening service from 7.30pm to 10.00pm 6 evenings a week. This service is exclusively and only available at Chalet Nicole in Plagne 1800. Standard babysitting rates apply after 10.00pm.

Alongside our childcare packages babysitting can be arranged in resort 6 days a week on request at a charge of €12 per hour per child carer. Please note, all childcare needs to be booked in advance and is not available as an option in resort.

Chalet Cuisine | Our chalet menus have been carefully designed in conjunction with the award winning Cambridge Cookery School to provide families with imaginative, well-presented and great tasting food.

Children’s food is freshly prepared and has been chosen to cater for the preferences of young palates. Homemade purées and a range of Hipp Organic baby food are available for babies and toddlers.

If you or your children have any special dietary requirements please let us know in advance of your holiday and we’ll do our best to tailor a menu to your needs.

We offer our guests a carefully selected range of wines sourced direct from the vineyard and chosen to compliment our menus.

DIRECT EUROSTAR TRAIN TRAVEL A great option for families travelling to La Plagne, Reberty 2000 or Bruyeres who are based in North London or near Ebbsfleet / Ashford. Journey times are just over 8 hours door to door. Confirmed supplements and timings will be available from 31st July.

La Plagne is a superb area for family skiers and our two chalets are located in a great spot beside the slopes and a short walk from the ski school meeting point and ski lifts.

Plagne 1800 offers an attractive, yet high altitude, base for families and has a small but appealing selection of bars, shops and restaurants. Plagne Centre is a short bus ride away offering even more shops and restaurants.

You will enjoy high altitude skiing combined with charming villages. The fast link to Les Arcs gives a total ski area that even the most experienced skiers will struggle to cover in a week.

Les Gets is a beautiful and traditional French ski resort offering fabulous facilities for families combined with charm and superb skiing. This picturesque resort is part of the vast Portes du Soleil area and offers skiing to 2,466m as well as links to well known neighbours such as Morzine and Avoriaz. You can even ski to Switzerland for lunch and be back at your chalet in time for tea! A short airport transfer makes this a popular choice for guests with young children and many families return to our well located chalets year after year. The village itself has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and an open air ice rink. You will find plenty to keep you entertained on and off the slopes.

Bruyeres is a great base for skiing and also has excellent facilities for families. There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants but perhaps most appealing of all is the Aquafun swimming pool and Spa complex.
