You don’t have to be a millionaire to give like one. Gates, Carnegie,

Rockefeller, I’m not. Generous, Caring, Rich in Spirit, I am! When caring

individuals come together under a flexible, creative, and capable

organizational structure, known legally as a community foundation, our

community’s potential is unlimited.

A community foundation facilitates charitable giving in their

community. We do that by pooling our resources in order to improve

the local quality of life.

Simply put, it means to build, over time, substantial endowment funds for a

community through contributions big and small. Because of the generosity of its donors

working together, we leave our community a better place for the next generation.

What are you truly passionate about? What do you really care

about in this community? You tell us, and we’ll tell you how we can help you achieve your goal.

Maybe we can direct you to contribute to an endowment fund that supports your favorite

cause, but also combines your donations with others to make a significant grantmaking impact.

Sometimes, donors like to leave a legacy by starting a named endowment fund that

will support what you care about most…ever year, forever.

And, often, donors like to get involved with our community leadership initiatives by

supporting an unrestricted fund or serving on a committee targeting issues that greatly

impact the future of this place we call home.

You’ve made a lifetime of memories in your community–you obviously love

where you live. Make sure the next generation loves it, too.

Lisa
