OUR APPROACHOur recruiting experts work across both permanent hire and contract recruitment services in their areas of specialisation, and as such their methodologies, skills and resources are specific and dedicated to their service offering. All of our consultants perform end to end recruitment which means the consultant you first speak with is the one that interviews your candidates and works with you throughout the entire recruiting process and post placement.

Working proactively and working in partnership is the key to our recruitment approach. Our specialised Client Delivery Model enables our recruitment team to better serve your needs.

From day one we build a comprehensive and evolving knowledge base about your company, including your culture, values, goals, business, technical and project environments. This information is recorded and shared with all members of our recruitment team to enable them to take a proactive approach to recruiting for your upcoming requirements.

We then implement our dual Account Management approach where your company is assigned both a Primary and Secondary Account Manager. What does this mean for your company? You will have a dedicated Senior Account Manager who builds a strong relationship with your business and is focused on your future resourcing strategies. In the case of the Primary Account Manager being on annual leave, or absent or just overwhelmed with the number of roles you may give us at any given time, the Secondary Account Manager will step in to support your business at the same level as the Primary, already having a good understanding of your business, culture and requirements.

SAFETY CULTURESense Recruitment is committed to working in partnership with our clients to ensure, in particular, that all of our contracted employees are provided with a working environment that is safe. In line with this commitment, we have implemented a comprehensive OH&S Management System that all of our staff and contractors are made astutely aware.

Sense Recruitment acknowledges the requirement for all personnel on site to operate within and comply with your company’s internal OH&S policies, procedures and standards. These obligations are outlined and signed off in their on-boarding process and included in any inductions.

CANDIDATE ATTRACTIONAt Sense we maintain innovative and effective attraction campaign strategies to ensure we can come up with the right candidates for your requirements.

This ranges from identifying the right job boards and social media channels as well as the design and posting of campaign landing pages or other channels which provide an opportunity to promote your brand.

As a specialist in Talent Acquisition it is our role to be highly engaged with as many candidates in local, global and on-line communities as we can so as to enable our search to exceptional talent beyond the reach of job boards and social media. It is through these networks and communities that we established relationships with many candidates who are able to be influenced by our experience, relationships and ability to find great career opportunities with employers of choice.

Sense is committed to the continuous enrichment of our already wide reaching networks across a variety of channels. This is reflected by the ongoing involvement of our staff with following networks and organisations, with our staff regularly attending industry networking events such as breakfasts, seminars and sundowners and seeking out new networking opportunities.

We have a pro-active recruitment model with a consultative approach that is relationship focused rather than just transactional. We build “passive” talent pools that enable us to exclusively represent candidates for the right opportunities. These are the candidates that are normally out of reach, yet typically the candidates you want for your business. This specialist approach goes beyond finding merely technically suitable applicants; we look for candidates with the attitude and values that will ensure a perfect team and organisational fit.

CONTRACTORSAlmost 50% of our revenue is made up from placing short and longer term contractors. We have the infrastructure to source, on-board, and payroll professionals and skilled candidates.

Our services include cloud based timesheets, consolidated invoices, insurance cover, arrangements for travel, inductions, medical and any other requirements you may require for your contingent workforce. We work with you from the onset to understand your requirements and build out a comprehensive introduction pack with all of the information they need so they can hit the ground running.

Once on-boarded the contractors are placed under our Candidate Care program which includes formal follow up procedures, regular meet and greets, birthdays and other events that help make the contractors feel inclusive and cared for.
