History

Siam Motors Siam Motors was established in 1952 under Dr. Thaworn Phornprapha for the purpose of trading new and used vehicles and shortly after became the first overseas distributor of Nissan vehicles. Since then the company has diversified its business interests in other manufacturing industries, including Komatsu heavy equipment, Hitachi elevator, Daikin air-conditioner, Yamaha musical and audio products, GS batteries, auto parts, etc.

HitachiHitachi was founded in 1910 by an electrical engineer Namihei Odaira. The company's first product was Japan's first 5-horsepower electric induction motor. Today, the company has grown into a Hitachi is a highly diversified company that operates eleven business segments. Hitachi is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and is ranked 38th in the 2012 Fortune Global 500.

Siam Hitachi Elevator (Thailand) have been established in 1974 in the business of elevators, escalators and moving sidewalks under the "Hitachi" brand name for over 30 years.

With the policy of Quality, Service and Experience, we are confident to respond our clients' needs and satisfaction as well as assure them of the high quality and reliability of our products in, both installation and service.


Capability

Since our inception, we have grown to over 900 employees, at our On-Nuch Head Office and Amata Factory. With a gross revenue in 2015 at 3.5 billion Thai Baht for both domestic and export business.

We have installed over 14,000 Hitachi elevators installed in the Kingdom of Thailand.


Factory and Training Center (Amata)

One of Three Hitachi Elevator manufacturing base. With capability of manufacturing 3,200 elevator per year. Deliver elevators both domestic and overseas.

A new state of the art Asian training center for Hitachi Elevator opening in 2017.


After Sales Services (24 / 7)

With 5 Service Centers located in Bangkok area and another 8 Up-Service Centers located through out the country in order to provide a quick and response to our client needs.

Sustainability and Innovation

Hitachi’s Environmental Vision 2025 is a long-term plan placing priority on preventing global warming.

Hitachi is committed to reducing environmental burdens of elevators and escalators as well as helping to conserve the environment through leading-edge green technology.

Hitachi uses micro-computer control in its products, which reduces CO2 emissions in energy production and achieves energy savings of about 30% - 50%. Waste is also reduced by having replaced parts sorted out for recycling
