Integrated Management System
PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ’s Standardisation System
ensures effective operation of the UKRTRANSGAZ integrated
management system and fulfills one of its main requirements –
providing every professional in every workplace with relevant
regulatory documents
governing their activities
Components of PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ’s
Standardisation System
* a single regulatory field of the main pipeline transport
and underground storage of gas, i.e. regulatory
documents a set of requirements governing all the
activities of PJSC "Ukrtransgaz";
* standardisation service, in charge of all work related to
regulatory support of production activities;
* Toolkit of the standardisation system (paper and
electronic funds of regulatory documents, list of existing
regulatory documents, computer equipment and
information retrieval systems, reference materials…)
6
Operation of PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ’s
Standardisation System
allows for:
* effective operation of PJSC Ukrtransgaz’s integrated
management system;
* updating, improvement and development of the
regulatory framework of PJSC Ukrtransgaz in all areas
of the enterprise;
* company experts’ involvement in standardisation
activities at national and international levels.
Standardisation system ensures the required quality of
services offered by PJSC "Ukrtransgaz" in the natural
gas market

Perspective directions of technical regulation
and standardisation within the GTS
Implementation of the requirements of laws that came into force in
Ukraine:
On the natural gas market
On licensing of economic activities
On technical regulations and conformity assessment
On standardisation
On metrology and metrological activities
and other regulatory acts of Ukraine, in particular,
Programme of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved by
the Cabinet of Ministers of 09.12.2014 № 695 and approved by
the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of 11.12.2014
№ 26-VIII 8
Participation of experts
PJSC Ukrtransgaz in the implementation of
promising directions in the field of technical
regulation
Participation in the drafting of RLA of Ukraine:
Code of the gas transportation system /gas storage,
to be approved by the National Energy Regulation Commission, and
Technical criteria for GTS / gas storage safety,
to be approved by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine
A number of other RLA to fulfill the requirements of the legislation are
prepared by other professionals, involving EU experts
9
Participation in the international INOGATE project under the
programme "Harmonisation of technical standards and codes in
the electricity and gas sector of Ukraine"
Participation in the working meetings on scientific and technical
cooperation in the field of technical regulation and standardisation
with representatives of leading European gas transport systems
Participation in the development of new versions of the DSTU (state
standards) (work with NBS) on the rules of national
standardisation, in particular, on the harmonisation of national
regulatory documents with European and international
counterparts
10
Participation of PJSC Ukrtransgaz’s experts
in international and national standardisation
activities

Harmonised standards developed and
implemented with the participation of experts
within ТC 133 andТC 146
Currently PJSC Ukrtransgaz is using in production activities about 800
national standards harmonised with European and international counterparts
Planned action on harmonisation of
regulatory framework in the sphere of GTS
13
Continue effective work in all previously discussed
areas in terms of technical regulation and
standardisation
Consider the PJSC Ukrtransgaz’s becoming an
associated member of German (DVGW) and Austrian
(OEVGW) gas associations and receive information on
new standards and developments in gas transportation.
This list is currently available and comprises 15 DVGW
standards on GTS operation that are of primary interest
Planned action on harmonisation of
regulatory framework in the sphere of GTS
Compiled and sent to the NSB 15 European and
international standards, which are to be implemented
on the national level as harmonised standards first of
all. In this we count on INOGATE’s assistance
Analyse the standards of EU standardisation
committees, whose scope covers the GTS functioning,
and establish the first priority for harmonisation of their
documents with their national counterparts.

CONCLUSIONS:
to ensure compliance of national standards with the requirements of the EU (international) standardisation, Ukraine is actively involved in the work of international and regional standardisation bodies
adoption and implementation of national standards harmonised with EU (international) standards, promotes the convergence of national standardisation system with international and European systems
17
CONCLUSIONS:
Participation of UKRTRANSGAZ experts in international projects on scientific and technical cooperation in standardisation enhances opportunities to exchange experience and use other countries’ achievements, which allows the Ukrainian gas transmission system to operate at the level of the international and European standards requirements.
