Evolve Retreat Co. offers luxury health and wellness retreats in the Canadian Rockies. Each retreat is led by a team of wellness experts, integrating a personalized approach to fitness, yoga, clean eating, nutrition & outdoor adventure. Launched in May 2017, Evolve Retreat Co. was founded by Dr. Ingemaud Gerber and Tina Green.

Take in the vistas of cowboy country on horseback at Homeplace Ranch.

Ingemaud is a family physician with a keen interest in a preventative/proactive approach to medicine, with a focus on lifestyle intervention. As the guiding force behind Evolve Retreat Co., Inga is dedicated to ensuring that each guest leaves with the tools, knowledge and motivation to increase their health span.

Tina Green | Director of Experience

A healthcare professional by education, but an experience-maker at heart, Tina is the first point of contact when you book your retreat, she will be on the ground when you arrive, and she is responsible for all of the details in between. Tina combines her love for new experiences, new people and planning into her dream role with Evolve Retreat Co.

Tommy Europe | Master Fitness Trainer

Best known as the tough-love television host of the “The Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp,” Tommy Europe is Canada’s most recognized and sought-after fitness coach, having helped thousands of people worldwide improve their health, increase motivation and become more productive at work and in life.

Chris Murphy | Certified Chef de Cuisine

Born and raised on the Canadian Prairies, Chris comes from a long line of farmers who were tied to the land. He carries that same respect for the land and the ingredients that come from it.With 20 years of industry experience and his Certified Chef de Cuisine (CCC) designation, he is a force of nature in our kitchens.

Melissa Goldsmith | Registered Dietitian

Melissa is a Registered Dietitian who strongly believes in preventing and treating medical conditions with healthy living education and specifically tailored diets. She also believes that real health starts with real food and ensures that our guests receive the education and tools they need to live a healthier lifestyle once they’ve returned home.

Ronna Schneberger | Mountain Guide & Naturalist

Certified guide, yoga instructor and personal coach, Ronna has been a professional guide and naturalist for 20 years in the mountain parks. It is her goal to help people develop a reverence for this wondrous place, and to teach them how to enhance their personal connection with nature and themselves wherever they live.

Sarah Harvie | Yoga & Adventure GuideA lifelong adventurer, Sarah has been leading backpacking, backcountry skiing, white water canoeing and rafting expeditions for over two decades. She has also advanced training in Cranio Sacral Therapy, Massage Therapy, Yoga (RYT-500),and Yoga Nidra. Sarah is your guide to both inner and outer landscapes.

Marin McCue | Wellness CoachMarin is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher, spin teacher, mind-body coach, and author. Marin has created a life that is grounded in elevating the lives of others through inspiration and leading by example. Catch her on the yoga mat, running the trails, and hosting workshops.

Eric Ostopkevich | ACMG Climbing & Hiking GuideEric has spent the last 15 years exploring the mountains of Western Canada, the United States and Europe. He is an internationally certified mountain guide who sees guiding as a way to help our guests explore their personal limits, while experiencing the beauty of nature. His enthusiasm and energy are endless and truly contagious.

1:30 pm to 2:15 pm“Food for Thought”: An Interactive Healthy Cooking Demonstration with Evolve Health Chef, Chris Murphyand Dietician, Melissa Goldsmith

Learn just how easy it is to choose and prepare healthy meal options. This workshop will focus on the health benefits of buying local, while supporting Alberta growers. It will be an interactive food demo featuring today’s lunch. He will teach you a quick simple and delicious dressing, some simple culinary techniques, while demonstrating how easy whole food meals can be.

2:15 pm to 3:00 pmPersonal Wellness Consultations and Relaxation Time on the Estate Grounds

Take time for a private lifestyle consultation with one of our wellness experts or retreat to your favourite space on the property for some well deserved quiet time.

3:00 pm to 4:00 pmMovement and mindfulness with Sarah Harvie on the Estate Grounds

On a beautiful nature walk led by Sarah Harvie, learn how to be mindful of your surroundings and leave with invaluable tools necessary to skilfully navigate through the inner landscapes of the body and mind. Soak up the natural beauty and amazing views of the foothills of the iconic Rocky Mountains and focus on the health benefits of mindfully spending time daily in nature.

4:15 pm to 5:15 pm“Sleep, The Missing Variable” with Dr. Ingemaud Gerber, MD, in the Celeste Room

Few things are as coveted as good sleep: studies show that quality sleep adds years to your life and, over time, increases happiness. We take a look at scientifically proven tips that will help guarantee you wakeful days and blissful nights. Finish up with sleep-promoting breath and body work with Marin McCue.

5:30 pm to 6:15 pmDinner in the Opal Dining Room

Enjoy an Alberta-inspired dairy and gluten-free 3-course dinner after a day of replenishment, and before a relaxing 90-minute yoga workshop.

6:30 pm to 7:45 pmYoga Nidra and Live Cello with Sarah Harvie and Erin Beach at the Outdoor Gazebo

This 90-minute Yoga Workshop is led by Sarah Harvie, and features clasically-trained cello player, Erin Beach. Practice begins with Gentle Asana, followed by a beautiful Yoga Nidra practice, and finishes with a 20-minute meditation, all to the soothing sounds of the cello. Yoga Nidra is a deep and blissful state of yogic relaxation. Through guided meditation, the body is led into a relaxed sleep state while the mind re-mains alert and aware. Participants are invited to call forth a “Sankalpa” – a deep aspiration or intention (“I am healthy”; “I am happy”; “I am grateful”) – which is infused into this higher state of consciousness to reach places of stillness.
