Impact of not taking care of water

Water pollution is an existential problem in the world, since it is a major source of life on earth.

Among the many consequences of the pollution that man proposes water from lakes, rivers and seas, we can highlight:

Disappearance of marine life and aquatic ecosystem destruction due to the extreme toxicity of industrial waste.

Generation diseases in the human population, such as hepatitis, cholera and dysentery.Adverse effects on development of the species based on the weakening of your immune system, your bad prospect of

survival and reproduction difficulties, as well as deadly diseases like cancer.

Groundwater seepage from landfills or buried toxic waste, pollution of fresh water precluding its use for humanconsumption, thus decrease in recreational activities, the production of food raw material, etc. ..

Strong impact poisoning in species from other ecosystems due to water consumption or total lack of it.

There are several measures that can help save and better use of water. Let's have a responsible water consumption andcontribute well to their care.

In the kitchen: Let's use phosphate-free detergents.

When wash our dishes, replacing the cap. You can save up to 80 liters of water. In summer, do not let the water run until it gets cold, we use water from the refrigerator.

It is best to use the washing machine and dishwasher when they are full, we save more water.

In the shower: If you shower instead of a bath, you can save about 100 liters of water.

Why conserve water?

Did you know that experts predict that there will be wars in this century to get water?

Did you know that water is a limited natural resource and every day more scarce and without it life would end?

The lack and misuse water drought have resulted in different places. Drought devastating effects in countries thatsuffer. Currently, there are many countries that have less water than they need and it is estimated that by early nextcentury, one-third of the water shortage nations will permanently.

Other countries have more water than they actually need. It is a fact that the existing amount of water, enough to coverthe basic needs of everyone if well managed. If it is true that the lack of water in many places is a big problem.

But the biggest problem is not the lack of water, but there is mismanagement of this precious liquid.

Water consumption in the world increased between 1900 and 1995 (more than double the growth rate of thepopulation) and continues to rise as demand increases both domestic and industrial.

The quality is as important as quantity increased pollution in certain areas, decreases the amount of usable water.

More than five million people die each year from water-related diseases, equivalent to ten times the number killed in warsin the world. The side effects of the lack of water are of concern as the view that there is not enough water to drink in the

future.

The United Nations says that each person needs at least 50 liters a day for drinking, bathing, cooking and sanitation.But what actually happens? There are places where people do not have even 1% of that amount, as elsewhere, peopleuse more than 100 times that amount.

Provide universal access to the minimum of 50 liters for 2015, would take less than 1% of the amount of water used in theworld today. However, it seems like a long way from achieving it every day, people forget how important this liquid and

waste.

Water is the main source of life on Earth, but not unlimited. From the Conference of the United Nations (UN) held inRio de Janeiro in 1992, the General Assembly declared March 22 as the date of official celebration of World Water

Day.

The idea of this day is mainly to inform and raise awareness to as many countries as possible, about the status of watersources in the world to design policies for care.

So, on this day we say what is the importance of water in the world in 10 data. The importance of protecting the water.

For many years, water has been synonymous with life, purity and welfare. It has been the main source of life for the entireplanet Earth and perhaps the most pure, vital that we have.

At present the importance given to water is greater, and not because of what it represents, because it is running andperhaps in the not too distant water completely disappears leaving a big problem to future generations. But why is

National Water Commission (CNA) believes that drinking water coverage includes people who have piped water insidethe house, outside the house, but within the field; public key or another home. The people have not necessarily covered

with potable quality water.

Water is essential for life to exist, not only because it is part of the composition of their molecular structure, but also bythe multitude of processes and chemical reactions, biological and physical in which it participates.

Even the body of most living things is composed mostly of water, and maintain this level is essential for the body tofunction properly.

than an option.

Only 3% of all the planet's water is suitable for the growth and development of terrestrial life on the planet, and still isunevenly distributed concentrating more than 90% in glaciers, ice caps and ice sheets on the planet.

Life without water is impossible, so we have seen forced to employ our expertise into ways to purify water, making it safeto drink and use in our activities.

Importance of lectric nergy SavingsCurrently the use of electricity is essential for most of our activities with this type of energy we have a better quality oflife. With just push buttons get light, heat, cold, sound or image. Their use is indispensable and we hardly stop to think

about the importance and benefits when used efficiently.

The power saving is fundamental to the use of energy resources; saving equivalent to reducing the consumption of fuelin electricity generation also avoiding the emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.

Our country has a lot of energy sources. In Mexico, the majority of electricity generation is done through the oil, coaland natural gas, significantly impacting the environment by relying on non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels. When

Turn off electrical equipment

Establish a rule that computers, printers, fans, heater / cooler water and even coffee, are off and possibly disconnected at the end of theworkday.

Frequently clean air conditioning filters

Permanently establish a maintenance program and cleaning electrical equipment, such as lamps and air conditioners.

Turn off equipment when not in use

Computers and other equipment (copiers and printers, illuminated), usually on all day and even at night. Turn them off at the end of workday.

Turn off computer monitors

You can save a lot of electricity if you turn off the monitor, it uses a high power consumption.

Using solar energyAllow the sun to seep into the offices, raising curtains and / or blinds.

Do not allow waste energy through windows

If the office has air conditioning, make sure windows are closed tightly.

Turn off the lights

Nearly all everyday products generate energy impact, evident considering the energy spent over the life cycle:production, use and end. In most cases the most important stage is the shelf life. In the case of plastics, for example, are

one of the materials which are more energy efficient. In the use phase, plastic products help save more energy than ittakes to make them. An example: when choosing a water bottle packaged in a lightweight material such as plastic,remember that the lighter the package, less energy is spent on transport. Whereupon, the truck carrying those plastic

bottles requires less fuel to operate.
