I think the social group that my media product represents is similar to kerrang because kerrang is a heavy metal magazine and my magazine is a heavy metal magazine also so both magazines are likely to have the same type of people that we both represent as you can see here both people from my magazine and kerrang magazine has piercing and eye liner around the eye. I did this by using mise en scene: costume and props that my models were using has a huge role to play in my magazine because of mise en scene the audience can will associate what type of people looks like a heavy metal artists. On my front cover my model Nathaniel has piecing in his ear, snake bites and eyebrow and this is all things people associate a heavy metal artists to look like and that's the social group my magazine product is represent, a unique type of social group that the audience won't see in their daily life.

The social group that it being represented throughout my magazine is a social group that is very unique who are rare to see in society due to people think it’s weird to get piercings in your mouth.

Some fans of punk music has created a subculture called punk and some punk rock fans may buy my magazine because of the social group my magazine represents, what my magazine represents is similar to punk artists because of the way they both dress so my magazine represents punks too.

• On my front cover, there is a particular social group that is being represent, my model Nathaniel is dress like that group and the how I represented them is using images and though them the audience can know what they look like also though the text, I represented them some as funny, serious and a larger range of different type of people especially the text of in the double page spread.

• The denotations of this is that they are just people who are dressed differently to how people in society think what’s the right/normal way to dress. And the connotations this is that they are treated differently due to the way they are dressed and look differently to what people think the norm is and the message of the rock out symbol that Nathan is doing is to express his love to heavy metal music and the social group that is also represent loves rock too.

• On the contents page, there is a particular social group that is being represent, my model Damien is dressed in a way that similar to a social group and the social group is a goth group and this is created by a group fans who like punk music and any type of rock with mystical lyrics this is a subculture has been created also they likely to be the group of people my magazine represents because people in society associated these type of people to like and love heavy metal music and to be dress in black all the time and be serious and this type of social group are being looked down at because they are seem to be negative and never positive also people believe that social groups who listen to this type of music worships the devil which is wrong, heavy metal music has nothing to do with that social groups and it’s a wrong stereotype of them with other people which not everyone is the same. There is an theorists Tessa Perkins she states that some stereotypes has some truth to them which makes them believable for example: she states most terrorists are Muslim but not all Muslims are terrorist and this is the same thing with this social group, some devil worships listen to heavy metal music but not all heavy metal listeners worship the devil.

There is an theorist Jacques Lacan, he states that the audience sees iconic figures and characters in media text that are successful so the audience may look up to them because of them being superior and that's what they aspire to be and this is called to "The ideal I“ and the social group that is being represent will looks up to people in my magazine and want to copy their lifestyles for example: clothes.

Double page spread social groupOn the double spread page, there are the same social as on the front cover, "Dark Winter" a band that bonded over heavy metal music and usually people would associate heavy metal music the same as screamo where in this music genre the music is based on the artists shouting out loud and that is very similar to heavy metal but not the same and that’s how my magazine represent particular social groups.

The double page spread text shows that heavy metal artists/bands do have a sense of humour and not all scary and creepy as they are associated and represented on the media.

The audiences of this type of magazine is punk and that’s a social group where a young person dresses in strange colours that society states to be weird and often they have coloured hair and listen to loud violent music and that’s the social group my media product represents because some of the artists has coloured hair (Black) and they listen to loud music and in the article they produce loud music however it is not always violent and another social group that my magazine represents can be emo because they dress similar to my magazine also they may buy my magazine due to this also it’s the music they listen to is similar to heavy metal so they may want to listen to it and know some of the good songs by buying my magazine.
