What your intentions were when you took the photograph?I established the genre of the Fashion Spread through the location where the photograph was set as well as the graffiti and clothes worn by my model by using a low angle shot to get all the elements in.How the final image fulfils your intentions? The image taken well establishes the genre of the magazine through the use of the camera angle I have used as well as the mise-en-scene of the image. How the image is appropriate for the front cover of a teenage lifestyle magazine; and the specific issue you have created? My model himself is a teenager and therefore would relate to the target audience which the magazine will be aimed at. A majority of people in my target audience might dress like this and hang out in locations like a Skate Park. Street/Urban is identified by the use of a low angle which helps the graffiti and clothes all stand out for the target audience to see.The meaning created in the image:The meaning created in this image is signifying the role of the model as wearing these clothes make him look cool which would attract the target audience.

How well the combination of image and text works? The text is separate from where my model was positioned which improves the appearance of the Fashion Spread. The colours red and black are used for the text to stand out when inserted on the image. I put a black outline outside the text for my headline and credentials to make it stand out, without the outline the text would look a bit dull and won’t stand out for the target audience to see. I used the colour black for the clothing information as it stands out by itself, if I used the colour white it might be impossible to see as the colour of the graffiti is also white as well as blue and green. The meaning created:The meaning I have created is a cool and serious approach. This is shown by the clothes my model is wearing as he is wearing clothes which people might associate street/urban with as well as what some teenagers would wear. The colours used for the fonts of my headline and credentials stand out which would attract the target audience. The facial expression used by my model shows the Fashion Spread is using a serious approach for the Fashion Spread, however, the body language used by my model shows the Fashion Spread is using a cool approach to try and attract the target audience. How it is appropriate for the target audience? The clothes relate to the target audience as some people in my target audience wear these clothes. People in my target audience would also hang out in locations like a Skate Park. My model himself is part of the target audience which would appeal them as well as attract them. How it fulfils your intentions? The genre of the Fashion Spread is clearly shown by the location of the Fashion Spread as well as the graffiti and clothes worn by my model by using a low angle shot.
