European Universities Rowing Championship Finals

A day on the racing venue on the Lake Palić,through eyes of Amy Ellerker

Sunday 16th of July saw the final day of racing at the European University Rowing Championships. The finals commenced at 9:30am starting with two C finals, eight B finals and then nineteen A finals. Great racing was had by all with the majority of races tightly contented as European Universities battled it out for the top three spots in each event. As the day progressed conditions gradually became more challenging, with high gusts of wind over Lake Palic, making it tough conditions for the athletes.
