INTRODUCTION

Nowadays, in Malaysia as in any other developing countries the business

sector has an enormous potential for improving the nations economy and income.

Because of this positive development, we find ourselves interested in getting

involved in the business sector. As we have seen, there are a lot of businesses in

Malaysia, especially in the food industry. The food industry is not dominated by

Malaysians only but, also by foreigners. At this point of view, we can see how

people try to involve themselves to gain profit.

Despite the active participation of Malaysian businesses in the food

industry, there is a dearth of businesses that focus on a specialized product.

Noraini Cookies, Makcik Puff, and Nelson are perhaps among the very few that

specialized in a particular product. The changes in all this specialized food

business in Malaysia exist because of customer's wants and needs.

The emergence of food businesses that specialized in a particular product

is due to a few factors. First, there is a change in the eating habits of the

Malaysian consumers. Second, the influence of foreign businesses such as Dunkin

Donut, Olivefe-JSandwich, Coffee Bean and Cinnamon Rolls help to encourage the

growth of Malaysian businesses that specialized in specific food products.

Crystal Ice is a place where you can feel relax and casual at. Actually,

Crystal Ice is a small kiosk that specializing in a variety of ice blended that

includes fltrvured-likes coffee, chocolate, vanilla, mocha, cappuccino, yogurt, and

others fresh fruits ice blended. We have used a flavors powder and fresh fruits for

our ice blended. We also mix the ice blended with pearl tapioca, jelly grass, and

basil seed. We also give the opportunity to our customers to choose two types of

any flavored and mix them together.

Besides that, we also offering selected snacks such as cakes like cheese

cake, blueberry cake, black forest cake, and chocolate moist cake and three types

of muffins (almond, vanilla, pandan) sourced from local suppliers. Our kiosk also

creates and designs our own plastic cup.

Crystal Ice will be launched on 1st August 2004 and will be located at

Jaya Jusco, Bukit Raja. Bukit Raja is a popular happening place to hang out with

friends and families, especially during the weekends and public holidays. The

business will commence operation at the following address:

The chosen location is considered strategic to start a business because of

its facilities, business environment and the customers who frequent the shopping

complex. Our kiosk is very easy to access and convenient and built at the centre

of the shopping complex to attract customers. The kiosk provides customers with

the perfect ambience to relax and release tension.

THE PURPOSE OF THE BUSINESS

The long-term goal of Crystal Ice is to go public and be known to all of

the population besides having a good profit. In the long run, we hope to expand

operationJ>the wfiole country. This business plan is a first step towards realizing

the above feeds. Specifically, the purposes for this business plans are: -

1. Allow the entrepreneur to view and evaluate the proposed business

venture in an objective, critical and practical manner

Introduction To The Organization

Crystal Ice is located at Jaya Jusco, Bukit Raja which is one of the

biggest and happening area to hang out with your friends and family. The

business address is:

Physical location

In planning our business, we have decided to operate our business at Jaya

Jusco, Bukit Raja. This location has been selected after we carefully research. We

find that this location is very strategic because there are few competitors in that

area. Bukit Raja shopping complex is the only one shopping complex in the area

centering to the needs of residents from Klang and Shah Alam.

needs of our concept.

The basic infrastructure at our kiosk consists:-

• Chair and table for our customer to them having their snacks

convenience.

MARKETING PLAN

Introduction

Marketing is the management process for identifying and

satisfying customer needs. The concept of our marketing is based on the

achievement and effectiveness of the marketing to increase our sales and

services that referred on needs and wants o customers to achieve the high

profit from our target market.

In order to make Crystal Ice kiosk more attractive, we have come

up with marketing plans for the next year. It is very important for our

kiosk as guideline for the future achievement. For our kiosk, we will

create many new flavors and something special for our customer.

The strategic ways to complete our marketing plans is by doing

survey, interview, and research and distributes questionnaires.

In the marketing plans, we also put in the promotion method such

as advertising in the Internet and magazine. We also create banner and

fliers to persuade customer to go to our kiosk.

For Crystal Ice, our target market is. all ages and races not only for men but also

for women, especially people who love and want to feel relax and spend their leisure time

nice fully.

Because of each customer groups in an eating-out market will want a different

product, our kiosk cannot reach out to all customers with equal effectiveness to gain edge

over eat competition our kiosk must examine market segment by identify one or more

subsets of customers within the total market and concentrating effort on meeting their

needs.

RAW MATERIAL REQUIRED ^ Crystal Ice W

All the raw materials that was purchased by Crystal Ice especially fresh fruits

will be send three times a week while for the flavored powder, pearl tapioca, basil seed

and jelly grass, Crystal Ice will get from the supplier once a week. For ice cube, Crystal

Ice will get it from our supplier Ice Master. They will send to us four times a week. Our

cakes and muffins will be sent two times a week.

Alhamdulilah, thank to Allah that we finally can complete this business plan for

entrepreneurship (ETR300). Crystal Ice is fully own by Bumiputera that located at Jaya

Jusco Bukit Raja Klang.

After completing this business plan, we already know how to make a real business

plan when we are enter to business industry in the future. It has potential and computable.

The price that we offered is expedient compared another kiosk.

As a whole, we choose this business because it is very strategic and is nearest at

residents and students area. So it shows us that it has the potential to growth up and will

become the golden business area in the future.

To increase the sales, we should be planning what we need in future. It is to

survey base on what will need or build to our kiosk. Nowadays, we can see a trend of our

PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement is officially signature by

all partners of Crystal Ice as below:

1) Hafiz Firdaus Bin. Saidin

2) Zainor Hanee Binti Zainordin

3) Ely Soraya Binti Noriozaman

4) Safiah Binti Pamidi

5) Nor Arba'eyah Binti Mat Nor

Based on this MoU, each and every partner of Crystal Ice is respected to follow the

rules and restriction under jurisdiction of the Partnership Agreement Act 1961.

Under this act, each and every partner of Crystal Ice also bound with the following rules

and obligations:

1) Crystal Ice is operates at Ground Floor, Lot 51, Jaya Jusco, Bukit Raja, 40500,

Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan

2) Only the partners of Crystal Ice have the right on controlling and hold the posts of

director of the Crystal Ice management.

3) Each and every partners of Crystal Ice can increase their capital contribution in

only if at least 50% of the other partner agreed in the official Board of Directors

meeting.

4) Each partner will get his or her profits annually based on their capital proportion

5) Each and every partner is not allowed to use Crystal Ice name as his or her

individual benefits.

6) All Crystal Ice assets are registered under the partnership name Crystal Ice.

7) Each and every partner is not allowed to take any assets and property of the

Crystal Ice during the operation.

8) Each and every partner is responsible of any causes that are committing with the

Crystal Ice. Each partner liabilities are based on their capital proportions

contributions.

9) The Board of directors of Crystal Ice has the right to dissolve partnership

agreement of any partners in any time if there is/are proves of the partner's

intentionally disobey this MoU regulations by all means.

10) Partners can dissolve their partnership by notify any other two of the Board of

Directors of Crystal Ice officially in black and white.

11) Partnership will be dissolving if any of the Crystal Ice partners are declared

bankruptcy or death (S35)
