ETC2012 Lancenigo Logistics BriefArrival at Lancenigo sports centerThe address is: Centro Sportivo Lancenigo – via Franchini, n°1. There will be a special Info/Players Desk set up at the ETC2012 Secretariat in the hospitality village manned with staff members who will provide you with the requested information.

Banking facilities/cash terminalThe nearest bank/ATM facility is located at the Lancenigo city bank as well as in the near shopping centre (a 10 minute walk from Lancenigo sports centre)

Catering & food on siteThere is a supermarket in the near shopping centre offering a variety of fresh quality foods. Also, there will be a stand in the hospitality village providing hot and cold food (pasta, sandwiches, burgers, cheese, cooked vegetables, cakes, ice cream, coffee, milk, soft drinks, wine and beer) on a user pay basis throughout the day. Please note that we cannot accept credit cards for food and drinks – payment has to be done in cash on a daily basis.

Changing and showering accommodationChanging accommodation is available at Lancenigo sports centre. There will be several changing rooms available for the use of all teams. Once teams or individuals have changed they must vacate the room for the next user and remove all bags and clothing and leave the changing room in a clean state for the next user. All bags must then be left in the respective marquee area.

Closing PartyThe farewell/closing party will be held at the hospitality village on site. There will be live music and awarding of prizes to celebrate the end of the Tournament. A special pasta meal will be offered to everybody. Any and all drinks must be paid by the consumer. The farewell party will start at 7.30 p.m. and will continue until closing time at 1a.m.

Ice 10 kilo bags of ice will be available for purchase at Euro 5,00 per bag. There will be two deliveries made per day. Ice will be deposited on site in the ice area. Please note that ice cannot be purchased by credit card and cash payments will be taken each day. A booking form will be available at players desk – teams are asked to pre-order their ice prior to the event. Payment should be effected on the first day of competition. Should more ice be required, orders can be taken at the end of each day and will be delivered the following day.

Ice baths Please note that some temporary inflatable ice baths will be available on site. Every team can also use their own ice bath placed in the special area for body immersions.

Internet access at Lancenigo venue and hotelsThere is no Internet access or Wi-Fi access for participants at Lancenigo sports centre. Internet access is available at the Referee–Etf–Fit office at the Fit secretary wich will be located at the Villorba Municipality close to the Lancenigo sports centre.Every hotel has Internet access (free or on a user pay basis) with cables available in each room. Provided they bring along their own equipment (laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.), guests can use Internet in their respective rooms as soon as they retrieve their Internet password at the hotel reception.

PhotographsThe “Graphitec” Agency has been appointed as the official photographer of the European Touch Championships 2012. Please visit the web site: www.graphitec.it in order to pre-order your official print prior to the kick-off of the Euro Champs and Graphitec will provide you with a personalised photo collection of your team playing in the tournament. Every team can buy a CD with hundreds of pictures (high resolution jpg files) at a special price of Euro 50,00. This means that every player could pay a Euro 3,00 fee and have then the chance to get their own copy. The earlier a team or player book the ETC2012 CD at www.graphitec.it or by e-mail info@graphitec.it , or at the tournament Graphitec desk, the sooner our photographers will be able to guarantee their personalised CD. Official Graphitec team photographs will be available at the ETC2012 from the beginning of the tournament. Please pre-book your team time slot on the above web site or on arrival at Lancenigo venue. You may download the pre-order voucher, fill it in and send it back to Graphitec. Further information about payment and shipping / delivery of the CD will be provided during the tournament.

Lost and Found PropertyThere will be a Lost & Found Property office set up by the players desk. Participants are again reminded about security of their personal belongings. Valuables should not be brought to the fields or left unattended.

Match BallsThe responsibility of which match ball shall be used rests with the officiating referees. Each team will be issued with a numbered match ball and teams are required to ensure that those balls are available for each match.

Tents and Accommodation areaFor every Nation there will be available a specially designated area under the large tent in the hospitality village. There are also other available spaces where teams can meet throughout the course of their stay.

Lancenigo location – Movement As some of the teams are staying at nearby hotels, those participants are encouraged to walk 15 minuntes to get to the playing fields. There will be no transport provided by the organisers, but local buses are available at a special price to and from the playing fields. Naturally, taxi cabs will be available on a user pay basis. For further information and timetable please see the transport board at players desk.

Lancenigo to Treviso City CentreThe closest bus stop is at the main Lancenigo square, in front of the town hall, near the playing fields. The buses leave for the city centre numerous times a day and run until late in the evening. Please note that the exact fare is required.

Visiting Marca Treviso landsWe would like to unveil and promote the beauty of the Province of Treviso in all its facets: history, culture, traditions, landscapes, tourism and local gastronomy (in particular its exquisite Prosecco wine, beer and cheeses). For this reason the LOC would appreciate if some players would like to take a tour visiting some of our partner such as “Il Colle” as well as “Latteria Perenzin” to sample and purchase the best prosecco wine and some of the very famous cheeses. The LOC will arrange a free transportation for a visit to San Pietro di Feletto and a booking is required at players desk.

PowerAde for players Each team is entitled to purchase several cases of PowerAde at a special price of 12,00 Euro a case – 12 bottles). Team managers have to pre-order the amount they need and will be asked to collect their team portion of PowerAde on arrival.

Rubbish Bins – Recycling All participants are requested to be conscious about waste and use the bins provided. Whenever possible all waste will be recycled. Paper / plastic and not recycling bins will be visible on site and emptied 2/3 times during the course of the day.

ScoreboardThe main official scoreboard with updated tournament information will be located at the Information point by the secretary of Fit / Etf office.

StorageThere will be no overnight storage available to teams at Lancenigo sports centre. All equipment brought on site must be taken away at night.

WaterBottles of Alps Dolomia natural water will be available for free for every team before the matches. We have plenty of these bottles but please note that no one has to waste water and please do not throw away unfinished bottles!

Team Allocated Areas and Security

The organisers will erect a large tent (800 square metres) in which all teams will be placed on a country by country basis. Each Nation will then be allocated part of that space and there will be a dividing screen for each of them. There will be no flooring or power supplied to these locations nor will any furniture, chairs, tables etc be supplied.These areas are for teams to congregate pre & post match and will allow teams to leave bags, equipment etc. Visible security will be in operation in these areas and all participants will be required to wear their tournament badge. Whilst measures will be put in place to secure these areas, the organisers cannot be held liable for any thefts of equipment or damage to items during the competition. Please do not bring any valuables on site but if you do please ensure that they remain in your personal possession at all times. Please note that teams can bring some additional tents/pop up’s on site only after having got the permission by the Tournament Director and pitch the tents only where showed by the organization.

Training FacilitiesTeams can train prior to the event booking a separate form by the players desk. For Captains or Team Managers the organisers will be sending out a separate booking form for this requirement and countries should ensure they respond in a timely manner to ensure bookings are made. ToiletsPortable loos will be available on site and these will be emptied and cleaned on a regular basis. Please ensure that they are kept in a clean manner.

Parking areaPlease note that there will be available 300 car parks outside the sport centre for competing teams and public. Only those vehicles that have a permit will be allowed to enter Lancenigo sport centre.

Warm up AreasTwo fully marked warm up areas are available at Lancenigo sport centre. There are open spaces to warm up but please bear in mind that these are limited and subject to demand. In some cases more than 40 teams will be warming up or cooling down at any time throughout the day. Your patience and understanding is appreciated with this matter.

WeatherAs usually, in Northern Italy the weather during this period is quite comfortable with some occasional showers possible.

Sanitary organization – Medical / Physiotherapy / MassageTeam managers, captains and team physiotherapists have to know that the service of physiotherapy, physical rehabilitation and massage for players and referees is directly in charge of the ETC2012 LOC Sanitary Supervisor (Mr. Claudio Da Ponte – M.D.) and event director (Mr. Stefano Emmi). The only staff authorized to manage this work is

Equipe Clinical Service – Rovigo (Fitness and Sports Injuries Clinic). If a player requires treatment, we will be able to provide such on site on a user pay basis. Any other personnel following every national team must be accredited at Loc Secretary showing own credentials of professional title. The Sanitary Supervisor, after having verified these aspects, will provide to authorize this kind of therapy only for players and referees of one’s national team. For these persons will have to be applied a price agreed with the Event Director or this therapy treatment will be allowed free of charge only for one’s national teams. Therefore all other players and referees must be treated by Equipe Clinical Service. Every abuse will be noticed and deemed misdemeanor. Physio service price:

all official referees will have a free of charge service all players have to show one’s voucher to the available therapist after having

booked and paid Euro 8,00 for every treatment (20’ – 30’ time session). These vouchers have to be obtained at secretary players desk.

Every sanitary proceeding is under the exclusive charge of medical staff with a legal specific assignment to the authorized physiotherapists. The medical assistance is free for all participants to the event. In case of necessary transportation to the hospital for clinical admission, all expenses charged on patient. LOC Direction and Italia Touch do not take any responsibility for any accident or injury that could occur to participants. A paramedic / first aid team will be on site as well. Please note that a full medical plan has been implemented for this event and that the health and safety of all participants and public is of the highest priority for the event organisers and local organising committee.All team managers and referees have to sign, on behalf of each and every player on their respective team, this waiver and release and hold harmless LOC Direction and Italia Touch their officers, officials, agents, and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (“RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by current Italian law. It is understood that every participant may have a private insurance. All of the above proceedings are governed by the Italian law and do not allow any exception.

As Team Manager of the squad that I represent, I have read, understood, acknowledge and agree to the above terms regarding the Sanitary organization.
