• San Jacinto College is one of 13 higher education institutions and one of two community colleges in the U.S. to receive a NASA MUREP Aerospace Academy grant, which recruits and retains underserved students into science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.

• More than 4,000 people annually receive short-term technical training through the continuing and professional development division.

• In November 2020, the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program and the Siemens Foundation named 14 San Jacinto College students as Siemens Technical Scholars.
