International

Women's Day Glandore’s International Women’s Day celebration is on again. Get a group of friends or come as a single to our delicious “High Tea”. Amanda Blair will engage you with tales of her journey through her career choices and changes, the highs and lows of challenges faced and how these have led her to become the community advocate that she is today. Amanda is also passionate about engaging those around her, though her many ambassador roles and the enlightening columns that she now writes for the Australian Women's Weekly.

“Sew much Fun”

Learn basic sewing techniques with our “Sew much Fun” classes. Our helpful volunteers will help you achieve the results you want. Sew on a button, replace a zip, mend that hole or make a basic piece of clothing, the choice is yours. Mondays during school term Cost $4 9.30am - 12 noon

Zumba Low Impact An easy-to - follow, low - intensity Zumba for older adults. Zumba focuses on balance using a range of motion and co-ordination. This course will leave you feeling strengthened and empowered. Fridays during school term Cost $5 10.45am

Body Moves A low - impact, chair - based fitness class using resistance bands and light weights. Suitable for people with stable long term health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease or obesity. Wednesdays during school term 11am Fridays during school term 11.45am Cost $5

Guitar

This casual group is a great way to learn the basics of guitar, have a chat and enjoy the company of people with a similar in-terest.

Meditation Relax and Calm

Meditation/mindfulness contributes to your physical and mental wellbeing. Learn and practice techniques to relax the body and calm the mind. Elizabeth will guide you through short meditations to use anytime and longer ones for when you have more time and quietness. The weekly class can be supportive in maintaining your own meditation practice.

Our playgroup for 0—5 year-olds is a place where Mums, Dads and carers can gather for support as well as an exciting morning out with their children.

Incorporating free play, craft, stories and song, each week provides an opportunity for you to engage in an activity with your child and create memories.

SMART-Tech

Covering areas such as networking concept and solutions, coding, robotics or general tuition. You get to choose the direction of each session and work on what interests you. If you need new knowledge or to troubleshoot existing issues this could well be the answer to your IT needs.

Mondays during school term Cost $5 6pm - 7pm Coffee/Conversation Wanting to practice your English skills?

This group will be perfect for you to do just that. This is a relaxed group of people who would like to practice their English through conversations.

An ongoing course that can assist with the practice you require after you have com-pleted accredited ESL programs or you can attend both at the same time.
