Volumen II Number Special 3 November 2013 Repeated Pleasure. M. A. Carretero. After the pleasant im- pression that we brought from our pre- vious visit to the Bienna- le of Glass in Strasbourg in October 2011 , we repeated this year 's vi- sit with the idea that going to be completely different from the pre- vious one. The above was specta- cular as the bulk of the exhibits was in the Wurth Museum , with many works of famous artists , the Biennale had been shared bet- ween Venice and Strasbourg and few ga- lleries participating in the event. This year the Biennial has benefited from the French cities of Stras- bourg as headquarters of thirteen galleries and Meisenthal localities , Wingen sur moder , Bouxwiller , Bischheim , Nancy and Watwiller. So , for us , has been ve- ry comfortable not having to move away from Strasbourg , except to the nearby town of Bischheim , to see the works of numerous ar- tists, all emerging sculp- tures and installations of highly topical. As for the galleries that participated giving their spaces to the works of the artists , there has be- en a great disparity of categories in terms of their potential audience projection visitor. Thus, the inauguration took place in the stun- ning space Le Barrage Vauban , a covered bridge over the river Ille in the Middle Ages was intended to stop the flow of water to the city when they felt threate- ned by enemy invasions and flooding all surroun- ding land so that the enemy could not access to besiege the city. A majority of galleries are located at street le- vel , so that the audien- ce that passes in front of them can see the works that are therein and lo- gin to view the exhibits. But there are others, such as Poirel Gallery (François Daireaux ) , or the No Smoking , which are in some interior courtyards , or the work that is on display at the Galeries Lafayette to be traversed the ground flo- or of this department store to find it, or works that are exhibited in a showcase of the Direc- tion de la Culture , or the extraordinary exhibition of William Velasquez is in the chapel of Santa Ana Clinic , wonderful on the other hand because of the extraordinary win- dows it has. A shame as original works and Gérald spec- tacular Vatrin bill , at the Gallery Bertrand Gillig , are located on the first floor of a residential buil- ding . Given the quality of these works believe they deserved a more in keeping with its catego- ry. Some exposures could not be inaugurated see them after our stay in Strasbourg , as the Mad Observatoire , or the Centre Européen d' Ac- tions Artistiques Contem- poraines , or Resonance Gallery [ s ]. Repeated Pleasure. M. A. Carretero.

After the pleasant im-

pression that we

brought from our pre-

vious visit to the Bienna-

le of Glass in Strasbourg

in October 2011 , we

repeated this year 's vi-

sit with the idea that

going to be completely

different from the pre-

vious one.

The above was specta-

cular as the bulk of the

exhibits was in the

Wurth Museum , with

many works of famous

artists , the Biennale

had been shared bet-

ween Venice and

Strasbourg and few ga-

lleries participating in

the event.

This year the Biennial

has benefited from the

French cities of Stras-

bourg as headquarters

of thirteen galleries and

Meisenthal localities ,

Wingen sur moder ,

Bouxwiller , Bischheim ,

Nancy and Watwiller.

So , for us , has been ve-

ry comfortable not

having to move away

from Strasbourg , except

to the nearby town of

Bischheim , to see the

works of numerous ar-

tists, all emerging sculp-

tures and installations of

highly topical.

As for the galleries that

participated giving their

spaces to the works of

the artists , there has be-

en a great disparity of

categories in terms of

their potential audience

projection visitor.

Thus, the inauguration

took place in the stun-

ning space Le Barrage

Vauban , a covered

bridge over the river Ille

in the Middle Ages was

intended to stop the

flow of water to the city

when they felt threate-

ned by enemy invasions

and flooding all surroun-

ding land so that the

enemy could not access

to besiege the city.

A majority of galleries

are located at street le-

vel , so that the audien-

ce that passes in front of

them can see the works

that are therein and lo-

gin to view the exhibits.

But there are others,

such as Poirel Gallery

(François Daireaux ) , or

the No Smoking , which

are in some interior

courtyards , or the work

that is on display at the

Galeries Lafayette to be

traversed the ground flo-

or of this department

store to find it, or works

that are exhibited in a

showcase of the Direc-

tion de la Culture , or the

extraordinary exhibition

of William Velasquez is in

the chapel of Santa Ana

Clinic , wonderful on the

other hand because of

the extraordinary win-

dows it has.

A shame as original

works and Gérald spec-

tacular Vatrin bill , at the

Gallery Bertrand Gillig ,

are located on the first

floor of a residential buil-

ding . Given the quality

of these works believe

they deserved a more in

keeping with its catego-

ry.

Some exposures could

not be inaugurated see

them after our stay in

Strasbourg , as the Mad

Observatoire , or the

Centre Européen d' Ac-

tions Artistiques Contem-

poraines , or Resonance

Gallery [ s ].
