12-strand spun nylon3-strand spun nylon

3-strand spun nylon, a firm lay twisted rope with spun/staple

nylon, has better grip than monofilament nylon ropes and

the fuzzy feel of cotton with the strength and durability of nylon.

3-strand spun nylon is a popular choice for lead lines.

• available in both 9/16” and 5/8”

12-strand spun nylon is a 5/8" diameter hollow braid. The spun

nylon is soft on the hands and gives the rope its cottony feel and

appearance. 12-strand spun nylon, when spliced with an eye in one

end and a turk’s head knot or popper on the other end, makes a

perfect lead line.

Megabraid II is a unique 12-strand single braid rope where

each of the 12-strands is actually a braided cord. The result is a

very pliable superb-handling line that is very abrasion resistant,

stays round and firm and will not flatten out. It is a good choice

for lunge lines because it will not hockle or fall out of lay like a

3-strand rope.

multilinE

Multiline II is a 3-strand composite rope. Each of the 3 strands is

comprised of a small core of fibrillated polypropylene surrounded by

spun and filament polyester. The spun polyester gives the rope its

characteristic soft cottony feel. The polypropylene cores keep each

strand firm and round, but significantly lowers the weight. Multiline II

is also ideally suited for pack rope and making hobbles.

our sta-set is a premium all-polyester yacht braid designed to

hold up to UV rays and saline environments. This means no fading

from exposure to the sun or degradation, rotting, or fraying from

sweat absorption. Leads, reins, and halters made with Sta-Set are

machine washable for seasons of use. Sta-Set is a firm, flexible

rope that will not stretch or shrink. Its firm round cross section gives

good pressure under resistance, but is still soft enough to provide

comfort instantly once the pressure is released. Unlike other double

braid ropes, Sta-Set has 3 twisted yarns per strand for a smoother

rugged jacket that is durable, yet stays supple and pliable for easy

knotting. Additionally, Sta-Set is available in 11 colors making it

easy to produce leads, reins, and halters that match.

Km-iii

KM-III is a kernmantle construction consisting of bundles of plied

nylon core fibers surrounded by a jacket of durable, UV-resistant

polyester. KM-III is an ideal choice for extra firm reins, and is

perfect for show ring mecates because its stiff design reduces

movement of the reins during competition. Mecates made from

KM-III are also very popular with competitors using bosals.

WaXEd rEin ropE

waxed Rein Rope is a very firm, round ½" diameter 16-strand

kernmantle rope. Each of the 16 cover strands is coated in a wax

that gives Waxed Rein Rope its characteristic weight and feel with

just enough texture for grip. Splice a water strap on one end and a

leather popper on the other for a durable lunge line. With a popper

on one end and a pineapple knot on the other, Waxed Rein Rope is

a great Mecate for snaffle bits, and hackamores/bosals. Waxed Rein

Rope is also the perfect rein rope. Splice water straps in each end

for roping reins or, for split reins, simply splice a pair of Waxed Rein

Ropes with a water strap on one end and a popper on the other end.
