EQ2 SYSTEM and the technology

The DOSAMAT is a patented system designed and engineered by UNIC: it consists in the auto-recognition of the portafilter 1 or 2 cups, followed by the execution of the corresponding command.

With its both application on the K30 DOSAMAT grinder from Mahlkonig, and the espresso machine STELLA

DI CAFFE by UNIC, the DOSAMAT technology gives to the barista total control and

complete precision, shot after shot.

Step 1

Choose your DOSAMAT portafilter 1 or 2 cups, and place it in the cradle of the K30 DOSAMAT.

The grinder reads the portafilter, grinds and doses a pre-programmed amount of ground coffee.

Step 2

• Espresso extraction quality thanks to multi-boilers technology and THERMALINK NETWORK intelligent energy distribution for consistent brewing temperature control

• Grinding efficiency (80mm burrs), freshly ground portion grinding directly into the portafilter

• Easy to use, hands-free operation, accuracy for the barista

Tamp and seat the DOSAMAT portafilter in any group head of the STELLA DI CAFFE.

The machine reads the portafilter and dispenses a pre-determined amount of water according to the number of cups.
