We will visit both historical monuments and some of France’s leading technological and engineer- ing companies. From marine engineering in the port city to the inner workings of the Eiffel tower, this trip covers it all! Some oth- er possible side trips will be Point du Gard, Nimes, Normandy, Versailles. The history, beauty, and cultural heritage of Japan are only equaled by its state of the art engineering and technology! Students will visit the Takenaka R & D Institute, Sony World Headquarters and the National Institute of Ad-vanced Industrial Science and Technology in and around Tokyo while exploring this world-class city. In the Kyoto area, you will visit tradi-tional shrines and temples, Himeji Castle and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. In Nagoya you will visit Toyota, all while enjoying the food and cul-tural heritage of Japan. Special cultural experi-ences include Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, Miyajima Island, Koyasan, and Nara.
