Email extras you might want to try

Extras you might want to try – Stationary Themes All the basics have
been covered so far – now for some extras
You may wish to have your signature automatically added to the bottom of each message
Or you may wish to use some different stationary looks to your email
To do this you should go to the TOOLS and choose the OPTIONS choice.

Next choose the Mail Format tab.
Place a tick mark in the”Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages”
Choose HTML as your message format
Click OK when you are done.

Now you should be back to your Inbox, so start up a New Message by clicking on the New button
Microsoft Word will now start up automatically and will be waiting for your email message
Go to the TOOLS menu and choose the Options choice, to set some properties

must go to the TOOLS menu yet again
Then choose the OPTIONS choice and the General tab
Then click on the E-mail Options button

the Personal Stationary tab
Then click on the Theme button

choices by clicking on them and a preview will show up in the right hand pane.
Don’t click OK just yet
Click instead on the E-mail signature tab
Extras you might want to try – Signature Files Under the
heading “Create your E-mail signature” type in your signature as you would like it to appear
You can change the font, color, and alignment just as you would in a word processor
Extras you might want to try – Signature Files If you want to
add a link to a website, you highlight the link by dragging across it with the mouse
Then click on the link button as in the example on the right
NOW click on the OK button
Extras you might want to try – Signature Files When you return
to the Word screen you left nothing will have changed
Don’t be disappointed, close out that message and start up a new one.
It will include all the new formatting including your signature
