The Soaring Eagles were tied with the Scarlet Raptors in the closing seconds, however, Rutgers-Camden would make a last-second layup to seal Elmira’s fate. BALARA LEADING THE WAY Against Rugers-Camden, Alex Balara ’15 led the EC women with 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists and four steals. In just her third game of the season, Balara is averaging 18.0 points per game and has led the team in scoring in two of the three games. LOYA WITH A DOUBLE-DOUBLE Meghan Loya ’16 has come close to her first career double-double twice this season before completing the feat against Rutgers-Camden. Against Pitt.-Bradford she pulled down 14 rebounds, but came two points shy of a double-double and against Centenary College she tal- lied 14 points and nine rebounds. However, against the Scarlet Rap- tors, she produced 12 points and 10 rebounds to post her first career double-double. POCHKAR IN DOUBLE-DIGITS Karli Pochkar ’16 also had a strong game against Rutgers-Camden as she tallied 10 points and eight rebounds. She now has six games with double-figure scoring and has put together a five-game streak of drop- ping double-digit points. GEISLERS HELPING HAND Averaging 3.7 assist per game, Kelsey Geisler ’15 not only leads the EC women in assists per contest, but she also ranks third in the Empire 8 Conference. She is only 0.3 away from first place in the conference. ec BLOcking shOtsThe Soaring Eagles have recorded 21 blocked shots this season. The EC women average 3.00 blocks per game, ranking second in the Empire 8 Conference. The Purple and Gold are just 0.17 behind conference leader Stevens Institute of Technology. Danielle Cleary ’18 and Megan Loya ’16 lead the Purple and Gold, and rank tied for fourth in the conference, in block shots per game with 0.9.

cLeary in the emPire 8Danielle Cleary ’18 has averaged 14.6 points per game this season. She sits sixth in the Empire 8 Conference in points per game, just 3.4 points away from leading the conference. She is also tied for second in the con-ference in three-point field goals per game with 2.4. She is only 0.1 away from first place.

LOya in the emPire 8Meghan Loya ’15 is averaging 9.6 rebounds per game this season. She is currently third in the Empire 8, just 1.0 away from ranking first.

POchkar frOm the charity striPeKarli Pochkar ’16 has been Elmira’s best free throw shooter this season, making 17 of her 20 free throw attempts. At 85.0 percent, she is second in the Empire 8 Conference, trailing the leader by 4.7 percent.

aLL-time vs. ithacaIthaca College holds the all-time advantage over Elmira College since the 2001-02 season as the Bombers hold a 24-3 record. The last time Elmira defeated Ithaca was on January 22nd, 2008 when the EC women won 55-35.
