Dr. Fixit Newcoat Exterior Coating Products PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Highly elastomeric terrace waterproofing system having excellent flexibility that prevents peeling, fungi / algae growth, future cracks, weathering resistance and water seepage. Elastothane Xtra is a three-layer system to build up of 1mm thickness. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION Method Of Application Brush Nature One Component Drying Time 20 min (Surface Dry), 4 hrs Hard Dry. Recoating Period Min 5 hrs. Coverage – Primer Coat 90-110 Sq.ft/kg/ coat Two Coat 15-20 sq.ft/kg/coat s (depending on porosity of surface ) Adhesion on concrete. Excellent METHOD OF APPLICATION SURFACE PREPARATION • Cement concrete surface should be free from dust and loose particles. A loose particle should be removed by washing or blown air. • In existing old terraces such as brick-bat -coba or screeds, the substrate must be checked for its soundness. • Damaged or hollow portions, sharp edges, etc. must be cut and repaired with a polymer-modified screed. • Surface cracks must be filled with Kanfill (Acrylic flexible crack filler) • Building Roofs/Terrace-Flat & slope • Over existing cementatious waterproof treatments like brick- bat coba, concrete screed, and acrylic coatings. bull When primer coat is dry apply the first coat ofElastothane Xtra on the entire surface providescrim fabric at junction of vertical and horizontalsurfaces after one coat then apply the secondcoat
bull Drying time between coats will be 5-6 hrst orCoating Products
bull Ensure that the primer and the 3 coats ofElastothane Xtra totally achieve a minimumthickness of 1 mm DFT Allow the system to aircure for 7 days minimum
Storage Life
9 months in original unopened packaging stored in a cool
dry place out of direct sunlight
