EJ Gaub EJ Gaub, the founder of the RMC Studios, brings many years of playing experience in a wide variety of styles including jazz, fusion, rock, rhythm and blues and New Orleans street music. Professionally trained in drums, guitar, bass guitar, vocals and piano, he has over 15 years of performing experience. He has been composing, recording, and producing original rock & pop songs for the last 10 years. EJ is a graduate of Ramapo College where he majored in Liberal Arts as a cum laude graduate. He has had the privilege of studying under and sharing the stage with drum legends such as JoJo Mayer, Joe Morello, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, Steve Smith and Gordon Gottlieb. EJ has been the owner and operator of The RMC Studios since September of 2006, which he created to share his love and joy of music with both children and adults alike. Since then his school has grown to over 200 students with a large variety of classes and instruments. He is a talented and ambitious musician infusing his classical and contemporary training with his own unique teaching philosophies. As an active member of the music community he continues to learn and grow as he dedicates his life to music.
