Who is responsible for what?THE REALITY:
The host of the meeting is ultimately responsible for collecting and reporting:
• Regulatory compliance data• Internal policy data• Financial data
However…..
A significant amount of the reporting required comes fromthe data generated by the meeting planning process
The agency, venue and technology system add value by supporting the meeting manager with the data requirements

Q&A
• What are your views?
• Have you seen any changes?
• What are the current frustrations faced by the meeting planner?
• How have these impacted you in your role?
So will Meeting Managers becomeData Statisticians?
No….and you don’t want to be one either!
But…..the collection and reporting of data will become more
integral to your role and there will be a need to partner more closely with your agency, your venues, your suppliers
and your technology company to ensure you get what
you need to deliver successful, appropriate, compliant meetings
