ECOWEEK 2013new nordic living

2.8

Page 2: ecoweek 2013 / living street market

New Nordic Living is all about collectivity, innovation and productivity. In this way, street markets offer the community a cultural experience, promoting social interaction, and appreciation of the moment in urban conditions.

Choices like reusing local materials adapting them to the structural needs, recycling of waste and being energy efficient bring us to an inventive scenario.

This project is a sustainable and social way of empowering communities. And the participation of the community will provide the locals with new opportunities and a sense of belonging.

Street markets are a sustainable and social way of empowering communities. Let us all join and create a collective street market bringing communities together!

The market will offer a range of activities and changing seasonal themes. The people of Nordvest will be able bring their favorite foods, homemade arts & crafts, or city-grown veggies to the market to sell. The unique ethnic diversity of Nordvest will contribute to a market with colors from all over the world.
