Eco Week events are open to everyone from Community Groups to Schools, Householders to Individuals and this year we have information sessions for businesses in conjunction with South Dublin Chamber. All events are free and range from exhibitions, workshops, seminars to storytelling and much more to raise awareness of environmental issues and solutions in a fun and practical way.

A guide to age group suitability, content and booking requirements is given beside each activity. As places are limited, bookings for all events will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

ExhibitionsondisplayduringEcoWeekStopFoodWasteExhibitionWaste Prevention is the preferred waste management option in Ireland. By not generating waste, we can eliminate the need to handle, transport, treat and dispose of waste. We can also avoid having to pay for these services. The STOP Food Waste programme promotes food waste prevention and home composting. Visit www.stopfoodwaste.ie for comprehensive information about the food we waste and how to prevent this through rethinking how we shop, store our food, cook it and reuse the leftovers.
