Signature Campaign for 100% polling CM election

Description:
As a part of 100 percent voting campaign, A signature campaign was conducted by the YRC
at EASWARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE on the 6th and 7th of May'2016. More than 250 students
participated in the event.

Around 10 volunteers visited the cancer institute to make the tumour affected children
happy by conversing and playing with them. Colour books,crayons and water bottles were given

Description:
Flash mob was held as a part of Project Nilavan in association with Alert We Care NGO at Besant
nagar beach. The main idea of this was to spread first aid awareness among general public.
Volunteers enacted a play emphasizing the importance of learning first aid.

As a part of Project Nilavan ,on the day of SRM NSS inaugural function 850 students were
given basic first aid training at SRM University -Ramapuram campus. The session created

awareness event at car free zone of Besant Nagar.The main aim of the event was to create

The installation ceremony of Youth Red cross took place on this day and the 29 office
bearers took up their post officially in the graceful presence of the Principal, Vice
Princpal,Programme officer and two chief guests. It highlighted the importance of YRC and the
responsibilities of the office bearers.

Description:
As a part of the world first aid day first aid training were given to students at TRP
Auditorium after college hours. The participated students were eager to learn basic life saving
techniques.

Description:
As a part of the world first aid day , YRC along with Alert NGO organised basic first aid
event at the besant nagar beach . Mannequins were brought by the NGO and the general public was
trained in basic first aid and how to act in the situation of emergency .Flash mob was organised by
our student volunteers .And a sand art highlighting the importance of first aid was made in the
Besant nagar beach.

Description:
Blood donation drive was organised for college students by YRC – EEC in the college
premises . The blood was taken by paramedics and Doctors from Rajiv Gandhi Government
Hospital.Nearly 137 units of blood was donated by our students.

7 days of happiness

Description:
As a joint event with RCY-NUS 7 days of happiness was observed, in which the YRC
volunteers presented the non teaching staffs of the college with key chains and greeting cards and
appreciated them for their sincere work. The main aim of the event is to make them happy and
realize their own importance.

Cycle week

Description:
The main aim of this event is to promote environmental safety and avoiding use of motor
vehicles.The students who came by cycles in the particular week were given certificates and
appreciated for their concern towards environment .Volunteers noted down their names at cycle
parking of the college and students were presented with certificates.

Human chain road safety awareness

Description:
There was human chain formation to advocate road safety ,It happened in the entrance of the
college ,volunteers encouraged the bike drivers to wear helmets and car drivers to wear seat belts by
holding placards .

Description:
The intercollege volley ball men’s tournament was organised by YRC in association with
the department of physical education . In total 13 teams participated and the money raised from this
event was given to orphanage , certificates were provided to everyone and the winners and runners
were honoured.
