• 6 Teams - 4 x students/team

• Each team will consist of 1 student from each college

Competition Ideas

• Teams may not enter the same business idea they won their respective regional heats with. • Teams will select from a list of business ideas provided• Supporting research will be provided for each idea• Teams may select their own idea

Competition TimescalesToday - AM• Teams Picked & Business Ideas chosenToday - PM• Students work on the preparation of their individual business plans.• Business Plans to be handed in by 9.30 tomorrow morning!Tomorrow - AM• 10.30 Team Presentations• 12.30 Judging• 13.00 Awards

Competition Scoring

• Business Plan Scoring 50%• Originality (idea, product/service, logo, company name etc)• Minimum composition of the business plan (see Rule 6)• Overall feasibility / prospects of start-up / sustainability

• Presentations Scoring 50%• Ability to persuade and communicate, demonstrate good levels of motivation• Good knowledge of your business idea and financials, concise answers to any

questions asked by the panel judges.
