    What do you like about it?1. Its a beautiful, historic, traditional

    Scottish High Street

    2. Location is seaside and near the harbour3. Its a residential street still4. Christmas lights5. Good cafes and places to eat6. Some great independent shops7. Clean public toilets8. New play area at East Beach9. Nice wide pavements10. Great people11. Local events like Lifeboat day, Music

    Festival, Pipe Band Competition12. Huge potential13. Beautiful Architecture14. John Muir Birth Place15. The Pool

    16. Good marketing on website and DiscoverDunbar brochure

    17. Good camping and caravanning facilities18. Great Golf courses near by19. Main line train station20. We are the sunniest town in East Lothian

    Whats not to like?

    1. It looks a bit scruffy with buildings in poor repair,empty shops, state of pavements, double parking

    2. 1 Hour parking isnt long enough3. Pharmacy closes too early on Saturdays4. Shops not open late enough for commuters5. Access to High Street from Spott Road not nice and

    litter along A16. Tourist Board closing

    7. Assembly Rooms a mess8. Corn exchange empty9. ELC charge too much to close road off for Pipe Band10. Council charges high for Street Furniture11. Harbour not used to full potential as an attraction12. Lack of signage to get to places like the Harbour,

    beaches, play parks, toilets13. Limited transport links14. Abby Church still looks empty15. Cobbled crossings and no proper crossings
