Mixing since the 40’sDualit’s roots are in the catering industry and right from the start, Dualit has had an eye on more than toast. The Dualit cocktail shaker / blender, a sleek and functional object, was patented in 1945. When the first Dualit electric blender was manufactured in 1990 (having been two years in development) it was easy to see this elegant styling still informed our product design all those years later. From the blender onwards, we’ve been steadily expanding our range and 2007 saw our first food processor hit the market. We spent the

next few years adding to the food processor family, and won a Which Best Buy award, 2011. Our most recent development is the unique VortecS® blender blade, inspired by the hydrodynamics of the original 1945 Dualit shaker. That product was tested on custard powder by Max’s wife at home; we believe this new technology means his wish to blend the perfect custard has been realised.
