Oman was an isolated place till early 20th century and not much development had taken place

As a middle-east nation having natural resources it only served the people of its own country

The second half of the 20th century triggered few signs of development

Sultan Qaboos promised to set up modern government and Oman’s economy was opened to the world

Leaders of the country and business tycoons like Dr P Mohamed Ali took Oman altogether to a different level

Dr P Mohamed Ali is the founder of Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG, which was founded by him back in 1972

He hails from Thrissur, a small village of Kerala, India

He is known for his strong commitment and inclination towards education

He entered the field of philanthropy because of the above mentioned reason and currently he is a well known philanthropist in Oman and India

His company, which is the largest private sector employee contributes a lot for several trust that based on enlightment of people through education
