Allison Sledge was born in Hollywood, California at Queen of Angels hospital on Sabbath Sunday, the seventh day of

the seventh month, seven years before the seventh decade. Her mother was of French and German descent and her father was of Chickasaw Indian and African-American heritage.

Growing up in Claremont, Allison excelled in all sports and received an athletic scholarship to U.C.L.A., however, at that time she decided to spend a few years playing bass guitar with several bands in the Hollywood club scene. During this time, she deepened her studies in all metaphysical subjects, which had always fascinated her. She then attended California State University Los Angeles, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting: Film, Radio and Television. She had a stellar career, working on Th e Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Th e Arsenio Hall Show, Women In Film, and Fox Television’s “Personalities” with Charlie Rose, among many others.

Allison has traveled extensively throughout Europe and South America, and now makes her home on the oceanfront of Virginia Beach. She lives with her four beloved dogs, Isis, Angel, Buster and Bear – and dedicates this book to her eternal love – Th ug, her precious Pug…
