As fallible human beings, it‟s too easy getting into a mindset in which we think making a difference is impossible – but it‟s not. It‟s too easy to get discouraged about things going on in the world and to complain that things are going downhill. The truth is, people are going green and saving Mother Earth through many daily preservation practices. However there are

Page 13: Disadvantaged Group - Apeejay Education Society SCHOOL, PITAMPURA ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL ( NURSERY CLASS ) 2018 – 2019 1. Total number of seats available for Admission to : 200

still many people who think it is costly and time consuming or more of a “tree-hugger” activity. The problem is that we have a tendency to try and take on either too much or too little. The students of class VII of our school walked for more than 5km to sensitize people towards our mother earth and make them aware of the alarming rate at which we are playing a role in destroying this beautiful planet and need of the hour is to realize that earth is a gift which is to be cherished and taken care of not to be tempered with. Along with the walk the students also played a street play on the theme and tried to get the attention of the people going by towards the aim with which they were walking around.
