Visit you kitchen. Make a list of the objects , which are made up of the plastics. Also write the type of plastics used. 4. Paste the sample of cloth made up of different types of fibres in your project file. Physics : (To be done by practical group III only ) 1. Test the conduction of electricity through various fruits and vegetables. Display your result in a tabular form. 2. Imagine that friction suddenly vanishes. How would life be affected ? 24. A field can be ploughed in 14 days. If 20 hectares of land is ploughed more daily, the work will be finished in 10 days. Find the area of the land which can be ploughed daily.

25. The sum of two numbers is 4000. If 15% of one is 25% of the other. Find the numbers.

26. A lady went for shopping and spent half of what she had on buying hankies and gave a rupee to a beggar waiting outside the shop . She spent half of what was left on lunch followed up with a two rupee tip. She spent half of the remaining amount on a book and three rupees on bus fare. When she reached home , she had exactly one rupee left. How much money did she start with.

27. A streamer goes upstream in 10 hours and the same distance downstream in 9 hours. If the speed of the stream is 1 km/hr, find the speed of the streamer in still water and the distance traveled by it.

28. A is now 9 years older than b. In 10 years, A will be twice as old as b was 10 yrs ago. Find their present ages.

29. In a rational number twice the numerator is 2 more than the denominator. If 3 is added to the numerator and denominator, the new fraction is 2/3. Find the original number.

30. Find the number whose fifth part increased by 5 is equal to its fourth part diminished by 5.
