Librarians are already making choices when purchasing library stock, regarding format supplier etc

Use 4 main eBook providers for Packages Ebrary: over 50,000 titles

History eBook Collection: over 2,000 titles

Netlibrary (Ebsco): over 8,000 titles Taylor and Francis: 180 titles

All these packages have a yearly

subscription. We do not “own” the books.

Librarians can choose EBooks up to the value of £100,000

They can limit by specific subject areas/maximum price

2nd time the book is accessed, it is bought automatically and owned by the library
