Hardware and Software Requirements

Installation Notes

Registration

1. Start Developer Suite and open the registration window (Developer Suite > About > View

and Apply License).

2. Fill in the License Request Form and send it to [email protected].

3. Once you received your license, you can load it using the same registration window.

Note: Providing the Order Reference Number received from the Gemalto Web Store will help us

process your requests faster.

What’s New in Developer Suite 3.6.2

Developer Suite 3.6.2 has the following feature updates and changes:

o Support OS Windows 7 32bit and 64bit (32bit compatibility mode)

o Clean up the NFC applet development environment with old NFC1.0/1.1 API.

o Remove APDU tracer.

Developer Suite 3.6.2 fixed the following known issues:

o Developer Suite

o Simulation Chain 3G splash Screen not terminated properly when launching SC 3G

from Developer Suite. (Issue ID: 2544)

o Simulation Chain

o Unable to perform RFM with Simulation Chain on CAT-TP when RC is indicated in the

SPI parameters (Issue ID: 683)

o Mobile Simulator’s BIP Channel ID is allocated even if Open Channel is not

Successfully Performed. (Issue ID: 5408)

o In Mobile Simulator, wrong length of Channel Data in Receive Data TR. (Issue ID:

2715)

o In Mobile Simulator, Tag sequence in 4 commands (Open Channel, Close Channel,

Send Data and Receive Data ) must be respected on 102.223 6.8 (Issue ID: 2714)

o In Mobile Simulator, Correction in Bearer Description type – if card asks for default,

just copy tag 35 from open channel command into TR. (Issue ID: 2717)

Uninstallation Notes

You may uninstall Developer Suite from the Control Panel or from Start Menu > Gemalto >

Developer Suite > Uninstall Developer Suite.

Known Issues

o Application Manager

o Application Manager cannot detect card simulator as a terminal if the card simulator

is launched before Application Manager (Issue ID: 1977)

o Loading an applet with Application Manager to card simulator on OTA mode will

result in package being loaded but there’s no instance created (Issue ID: 1985)

o If selecting the default language to Chinese and the default input is Microsoft

Chinese Pinyin in Windows XP, launch DS/SS -> launch application manager -> close

application manager, the About dialogue of Microsoft Chinese pinyin will show and

DS/SS will have interaction issue.(Issue ID: 2404)

o Developer Suite

o Unable to load applet with DAP with Developer Suite, while it is loadable with

Application Manager (Issue ID: 862)

o When user launch universal tracer from within Developer Suite and then launch the

Static Content Explore, Developer Suite will stops responding. (Issue ID: 2258)

o The Signature.sign() method overwrites data in the output buffer in USIM R6 card

simulator. (Issue ID: 3539)

o UICC parameters of the JavaCard applet is missing in the install(install) command of

the .lop file.( Issue ID: 2539)

o Simulation Chain

o Server Simulator does not support RFM using CAT-TP over TCP (Issue ID: 1078)

o NFC SCWS card simulator does not support RSA 1024 bits algorithm (Issue ID: 1921)

o Buggy sample applet demonstrating the usage of TIMER MANAGEMENT Proactive

Command (Issue ID: 1975)

o Sync counter not incremented always properly when testing CATTP(Issue ID: 2174)

o Wrong length sent by tool on segmented PDU in Simulation Chain when PDU data

size is bigger than 1422 bytes. (Issue ID: 3219)

o RMI service initialization failed in Simulation Chain when using VPN.(Issue ID: 2724)
