Jungle Book. The production featured the work of over one hundred Chinguacousy Arts students, over twenty staff, and many helpful

parents. The students from neighbouring Grenoble, Goldcrest and Jefferson Public Schools were also treated to a special matinee

performance where they got to meet the company and participate in a talkback about studying the Arts at Chinguacousy. Congratulations to

everyone involved in this magnificent show!

Community Advisory Council to sponsor new school based programs, which our students were invited to participate. Simera Kerr, Shedeana Williams, Samantha Williams and Ruth-Anne Griffiths, took part in the BCAC Focus Group in November that planned the new school based programs. They have continued the work with the agency, and have joined the Black Youth Advisory Council.

A very special congratulations goes to Abarna Kalanandan, who received the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel Youth Mentor Award for this year. This is very commendable as nominees were selected from sev-eral schools in Peel. Abarna will receive her award at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel Annual Gala in September.
