Headstart Graduation We have over 50 students and families finishing the Headstart program this week and starting Kindergarten with us in 2018. We thank these children and families for their support of the program and look forward to your start in the New Year.

Get ready, get set ‘cause here I go

I’m ready to show you What I know.

I came to Headstart And had some fun

I’m going to Kindergarten Now that I’m done!

Morning Assembly We are very lucky at Wyoming that we have a large number of parents who are able to stay with us each morning for our assemblies. We thank you for your support in increasing each child’s independence by ensuring they sit with their peers in class lines during this time.

Focus on Attendance Did you know that if your child misses 1 day of school per week they have missed 2 weeks of learning by the end of the term and 8 weeks of learning by the end of the year? At Wyoming we strongly support children attending every day that school is open and your child is well and healthy.

Dogs (and cats) at School Please be reminded that dogs and cats are not permitted in school grounds. This is legislated rule for all schools across NSW. Please

understand that while your dog or cat may be cute and well behaved we have students in the school who suffer from severe allergies and others who are extremely frightened of them. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Have a great fortnight. Rebecca Wild PRINCIPAL

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY K-6 ASSEMBLY This week’s K-6 Assembly will be held this Wednesday 29 November from 1.35pm in the School Hall. The Choir will perform an item.

On Friday 1 December Years 5 and 6 will hold their annual Mini-Fete. This will be a great day for all students to

celebrate a successful school year and raise money for the Year 6 Farewell. The Mini-Fete will run from the end of recess, 11:15am, until lunch, 12:45pm. Parents/caregivers are welcome to attend. The Year 5 and 6 students will run many exciting games and activities, including:

To purchase Wyoming Dollars place your money in an envelope with your child’s name and class and hand it into the office. Wyoming Dollars will be handed out to students just before the Mini-Fete. Please note: If you have more than one student attending Wyoming Public School please put Wyoming dollars money is separate envelopes – one for each child. Your attention to this procedure will be greatly appreciated. WYOMING DOLLARS MUST BE PAID BY CASH AND NOT THROUGH THE POP PAYMENT SYSTEM. Sharon Shearman ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
