www.fitwoman.com 1-800-448-8106 Dana Notte, MS, RD, CD Green Mountain at Fox Run Nutrition Lead Dana is a registered dietitian and Nutrition Lead at Green Mountain at Fox Run, a non-diet, mindfulness-based wellness retreat for women who struggle with food and weight. In her current role, she works primarily with women who have long history of dieting, disordered eating, and binge eating disorder. With extensive training and experience in coaching for behavior change and mindful eating, Dana guides women towards making peace with food by helping them uncover what is at the root of their eating behaviors and developing practical and sustainable strategies for changing those behaviors. Prior to her role at Green Mountain, Dana has spent years leading group-based behavior change classes, developing and leading interactive workshops for worksite wellness programs, and providing nutrition counseling to individuals struggling with eating, weight, and chronic health conditions using a non-diet, mindfulness-based approach. Additionally, Dana teaches a course on understanding and treating eating disorders through the Nutrition and Food Sciences Department at the University of Vermont. A member of several professional organizations, Dana is committed to pursuing on-going education as it relates to her practice areas and staying connected with other professionals throughout the country and the world. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group; The Center for Mindful Eating; the Association for Size Diversity and Health; the Binge Eating Disorder Association; and the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals. Passionate about increasing education and awareness about the harms of dieting and the benefits of a non-diet, mindfulness-based approach to health, Dana also speaks at professional conferences and meetings. Dana is a devout foodie, runner, and adventure enthusiast. In her free time, Dana can be found perusing the local farmer’s market, running the shores of Lake Champlain, and traveling the world.
