I’ll tell you a tale using cards, rhyme and wit… Composed by myself and that is no shock. This story you’ll find of two gals and one guy… Is kind of a soap opera and I’ll tell you why. The first pair of the three are husband and wife… A King and a queen for most of their life. He called her Edith and she called him Stan… Yes she was the queen and Stan was her man! Now the King, he could smile but Edith could not… What they wanted was child which could not be got. Oh, the King was quite virile with a weapon well made Twas the Queen who was sterile you see, she is spade. The King yearned a son a young heir to his name… And so it was Edith he started to blame. The fighting and yelling Edith took it no more She called Stan a bum and mistress a horrible woman. She had known about Kate, a winsome young lass… With the face of a queen and a firm, shapely nose. It was Kate whom Stan lusted, but he still loved his Queen… So a threesome they tried with the King in between. The King Stan Trio they came to be known… Stan’s gotta split now he knew you would groan. You see, Lust and Greed don’t mix well with fate… And soon it was Edith who lusted for Kate. Ah, two Queens in love, there’s a style with a crimp It got to be so that Stan felt like a pimply kid. He heard the girls talking just outside their walls… That if he returned they would cut off his bald head.

But Stan was persistent he wanted to play… So he popped up once again while Kate was away. A fight soon broke out Edith screamed, yelled and hissed… Not to mention the King, Oh boy, he was pretty upset. Well, Kate did return, much to Edith’s delight… Stan had faded away alone in the night. So, we’re left with two Queens, very happy and gay. So what is the moral of this thing anyway? Well, I’ve told it to Stan and now I’ll tell it to you… You can’t have your KATE, and EDITH, too!
