Welltheshowisoveranditwasanothersuccess.AbigthankyoutoCindyMatthews, her show committee, and all the wonderful volunteers for awonderfulshow.I’msorryIkindofmissedtheactualshow.AfterworkingsohardonsetupTuesday,Wednesday,andThursday,Iendedupwithaverybadcaseofshinsplintsandbruisedfeet.JustnotasyoungasIthinkIam.So,Icouldnotwalkverywellforafewdays,thusmissingmyfirstactualshowsinceIstartedwiththeshow,Iwasverysadanddisappointed.Wealwayshavenextyear!!!!!!Ijustwon’twalksohardandfast.HaHa!Thanksagaintoeveryoneforawonderfulshow.

DallasQuiltShow2019isinthebooks!Whatagreatshow!!Anditwasgreatbecauseofagreatshowcommitteeandgreatvolunteers.Ireceivedsomanycompliments from thevendors that the showwaswell run, everyonewasfriendly,andthatwetreatedthemsowell(wefedthem!).Theproblemsthatarose were all very minor, with the biggest being when someone ran ascooter into a pole and a fewwalls of quilts came down. That was fixedquickly, and I appreciate the fast actionby all involved. Since I had a fewissueswithmy scooter during set up, I'm not going to judge that scooterdrivertooharshly!!!Sonowonto2020…butwe'respeakingquietlyaboutthatfornow.Let'sjustenjoythefactthatwehadagreat2019showforafewweeks beforewe have to start planning again. Thewrap-up party for thecommitteewillbeApril16,2019!

She has won numerousawards and her quilts have been exhibited in regional, national, andinternationalshows.In2016TheVermontQuiltFestivalawardedherJubileeQuilttheBestHandQuiltingAward.In2012shewasawarded1stplaceinWallQuilts-HandQuiltedattheAQSshowinLancaster,Pennsylvania.BarbhasexhibitedworkatQuiltOdyssey,Lancaster,Chicago,andHouston.Sheisa three-time finalist at the AQS Show in Paducah.
