ARROW-SPLASHDIGITAL PRINTED SPLASHBACKS

Digital UV Printed glass or acrylic splashbacks create a beautiful and inspiring focal point for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial or residential interiors. With digital images printed directly onto the back of the glass, you have the opportunity to transform the look of your kitchen or bathroom plus have the added benefit of having a splashback as well as a fantastic piece of art on the wall and if you use your own images it will be truly unique and there are no grout lines to discolour.

You can select an image from the extensive Arrow Splash catalogue, which includes tranquil landscapes, retro patterns, water ,sun and funky designs and more. All of these images and designs are suitable for splashback printing and are ready to go.

If you prefer, you can supply your own images for glass splashbacks. We recommend images be sent as JPEG, TIFF or EPS files and need to be 300dpi. This size and resolution will be suitable for splashbacks up to 2500mm x 1250mm. However, lower file sizes maybe suitable for smaller splash-backs. Extra charges may apply depending of time used to manipulate the image.

If you’re not sure, email your image to sales@arrowwood.com.au and an estimated size of your splashback, and we will check out if your image is suitable.We have printed images from i-phone pictures very successfully.

Most images will need to be cropped in order to fit specific splashback sizes. When choosing an image, it’s important to think about image proportion and aspect ratio. Also what part of the image is the most important. A portrait image can’t be printed on a landscape shaped splashback. In many instances our team can assist with modifying digital images to your wishes and requirements.

For sending large files we recommend using a file sharing software like Hightail.com, wetransfer.com or Dropbox.

Please note, images downloaded from Google Images or from website galleries are not suitable for digital printing on splashbacks. These images are poor quality and have low resolution. They are likely to come with copyright protection as well.

If you don’t have your own image, we suggest visiting www.shutterstock.com. Here you will find plenty of images which can be downloaded legally, and most are suitable for large format printing. There is a charge to download so just save the image which will give us the ID number so we can check the suitability. There are a number of other websites available.

Arrow Wood Products only use 6mm Toughened Starfire Glass or High quality Clear cast acrylic for their Digitally Printed Splashbacks and all edges and cut outs are safety polished to ensure safe handling. Installation is available or you can DIY.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR SPLASH BACK• Our state of the art digital printing machinery has a capacity of 2500mm long x 1250mm wide print area so make sure

your piece will fit into this range.• Sometimes it’s better to balance the joins out according to the image.• Because your glass splashback is made from toughened glass it cannot be altered once the toughening process has happened. All cut outs and holes need to

be done prior to toughening.• Acrylic splashbacks can be cut down and holes etc. drilled on site if required. For quoting purposes a close size is sufficient so measure length x height.• For manufacturing purposes, we need a precise measurement done. Ask us for a free graph pad to help with your drawing.• If there are cut outs in corners for overhead cupboards or insert pieces for range hoods please draw these.• Take note of power point or tap or range hood mounting holes and send us a drawing. The more information the better.• Please note that if you are putting narrow pieces below a window ledge this will be separate to the main pieces and must be at least 50mm high.• Holes and power point cut outs also cannot be closer than 50mm from any edge. We allow 2mm clearance all round the glass for expansion but give us the

absolute sizes.• Your Arrow-Splash Image can be printed right to the edge so we can run the image over multiple pieces and also around corners. • If you decide on an installed price we will also come and do a check measure before manufacturing. This will be done after the order has been placed and

deposit received. All orders are subject to 50% deposit at time of order with balance payable prior to pick up, delivery or installation.
