1) Fresher’s Day- 20th Jan, 2017

D.Y.Patil, School of Ayurveda had organized sumptuous Fresher’s party for F.Y. Students with

support of Council of 2016-2017. Celebration began at 11.00am with Dhanwantaripoojan.

Honorable Dean Dr.MaheshkumarHarit, And all the Council teachers

enlightedDhanwantriMurti. Then, the Event commenced with Grand Magazine Name Launch,

“QuintusVed”. The finally the enthusiasm ranged in the crowd as introduction of F.Y began.

Well-dressed students Introduced themselves. Students of S. Y had taken efforts & planned

various activities for Entertainment of F.Y.students. At the End,Mr&MrsFreshers were selected

by our judges.

Delicious Lunch was arranged for everyone. For cherry on cake, D.J. party was also of

great fun, arranged by our Council in which almost whole Ayurveda family danced as much as

their can.

3) Sports week – 13th Feb to 16th Feb 2017 The Student Welfare Council organized the Sports week from 13th Feb to 16th Feb

2017 for outdoor & Indoor games, name given for that is Ayurtrophy

5) Ayurveda Premier League - On 20th Feb to 22nd Feb 2017

The student welfare council organized APL first time, enjoyed by all students &

7) Guru Poornima – 10th July 2017

The Student Welfare Council celebrated the auspicious occasion of ‘GURU

POORNIMA’ on 10th July 2017. Various events and acts were carried out to highlight the

sole purpose of the event – “Respecting Teachers & being thankful to them for all the

knowledge and moral values they impart to the students.”

The program began by seeking blessings of Lord Dhanvantari by Deep-prajvalan

and Dhanvantari Sthawan. After that Hon’ble dean Dr. Maheshkumar Harit sir delivered

speech regarding importance of guru in life. Students performed various acts to show

their gratitude towards teachers and felicitated them with Flowers, Sweets & in form of

small gift a Pen.

8) Ganpati Utsav - 25th -29th August 2017

Lord Ganesha arrived in the campus of D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda with a grand procession on

24th August 2017. “Ayurveda Cha Raja” was welcomed by our Respected Dean Sir, faculty

members & the students with great enthusiasm. The sthapana of lord Ganesha was done on 25 th

August 2017. Satyanarayan Pooja was on 28th August 2017. On the same day, Mahaprasad of

Ganesh festival was enjoyed by all. Our dear god was bid farewell after 5 days with a heavy hear

on 29th August 2017.

9) Navratri Utsav – 27th September 17

D.Y.Patil school of Ayurveda celebrated Navratrotsav with great joy & enthusiasm at Dental

Auditorium on 27 September 2017 . It was enhanced by large number of participation from

teachers,students & staff. The event was intiated with pooja of Goddess and it was lit up by

various forms of navratridance (garba).The theme of the day was traditional navratri wear. The

event then followed by felicitation of winners & participants of intercollegiate sports events

named “Fluoresen.”

10) Swachh Bharat Abhiyan -29th September 17

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is Clean Indian Mission led by the Government of India initiated by our

respected Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi. to make our India a clean India. As a helping

hand, D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda faculty & students got together and cleaned up the whole

campus as Clean Indian Mission on the occasion of “World Tourism Day”on 29/09/2107. The

event was graced by the presence of our respected President Dr. Vijay Patil sir, Vice Chancellor

Dr. Shirish Patil sir & COE Mrs. Ashwini Mahadeshwar Ma’am

11) Fresher’s Day - 30th November 2017

Student welfare council 2017-18 had organized sumptuous EL NOVATO 2K17 aptly called

Fresher’s party on 30th Nov 2017 to welcome the new faces of the year.

With pulsating ambience, flashing lights and foot tapping music, the party began with a blast.

Students of F.Y senior batch had taken efforts & planned various activities for Entertainment of

F.Y junior batch. At the end Mr. & Mrs. Fresher’s were selected by our judges.

Lunch was arranged for everyone. There are shortcuts to happiness, and dancing is one of them.

D.J party was also arranged and almost whole Ayurveda family danced their feet’s off.
