Training and all support necessary will be available. As the defibrillators are in place these teams would be benefi- cial to all in the community. Please call: 085 7296062 for more information. There was a good attendance at the meeting on 29 th April and it is now hoped that we can go ahead and set up this crucial service in the area. Many people have signed up and many more are needed to ensure the successful running of this. As training will be provided and it will be run in teams, this is something many more of us should consider getting involved in. Those who have already signed up will be approaching others in the Community in the next few weeks in the hope of getting more volunteers involved, we urge you to think about taking part, as it is very important that each area of the parish will be covered. The Slave Auction and BBQ: in aid of Clare 250 Mile Cycle was held at Tír na n-Óg, Cranny on Sunday 4 th May last. A huge thank you to everyone for an excellent night in Tir na nOg! Clare and Sheila would like to thank Micheál and Shane at Tír na n-Óg, Maggie and Mary for the burgers (the dream team), Paul Markham our Auctioneer, to all the slaves and our Sherriff who all said yes when asked Peter Shannon, Aoife McMahon, Aidan Corry, Sheila Haugh, Kevin McMahon, Ollie Keating, Kevin Corry, Lisa Farrell and Alan Corry.
