“November 4th was the second an- niversary of the setting up of Chugh- tai Public Library. It is a group of dedicated Learning Facilitators that runs the place. Their commitment in providing the best possible service is remarkable. Ensuring comfortable environment; they have attracted a big number of regular users. I was especially impressed by a lady who after finishing her routine chores, comes every day and goes through newspapers and magazines. As regards the organization of read- ing material, it has been done in the proper scientific manner. They have taken special care in assigning proper numbering and maintaining the rec- ord of books that have been donated to the place. An interesting attraction for the us- ers is the Free Service of coffee and tea at the place. There was a group of young readers preparing for an exam. They seemed to be having a great benefit from this particular service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience being among people who value knowledge, and the quest of knowledge. I extend my heart-felt appreciation and best wishes for these unusual people.” Dr. Rukhsana S. Chughtai CHUGHTAI PUBLIC LIBRARY 4-11-2015 VOLUME 2 ; ISSUE 3 CPL NEWS INSIDE THIS ISSUE: DR. She visited CPL on October

4th, 2015. She appreciated

the project by saying:

“I've heard about people who love their country and give their best to make it a better place to live. I never thought of knowing such people in person till the time I met Dr. Akhtar Sohail Chughtai and his team. And I felt so lucky to get a chance to visit Chughtai Public Li-brary.

A place where anyone can come and get the pearls of wisdom. A place which of-fers you a great book collec-tion for everyone. I was

moved to see Dr. Akhtar Sohail and his team's devotion to spread knowledge through li-braries. His vision to encourage reading habit and providing people with a comfortable place to study, read and learn.

This visit to CPL reminds me of this great quotation

'At the moment that we per-suade a child to cross that magic threshold into a library, we change their lives forever for the better. It's an enormous force for good.' Barak Obama

I congratulate Dr. Akhtar Sohail

Chughtai and his team for this brilliant initi-ative. This project is a beacon of hope and knowledge for everyone.”
